I have been a poweamp user for years I ve always had in mind some things that I would have changed I really hoped that the update could fix those but actually made them worse In the previous version if a song came up randomly and I wanted to listen the next one in the same album I just had to put it in the queue and the next song would have started after the wnd of the current one seamlessly Now I have to add both tracks to the queue and the music stops clumsy Please fix         Pirone Lorenzo

Up until recently I would have rated this app much higher However it currently drains my battery in a couple of hours despite following all suggestions by the service team regarding disabling the chromecast button and the autofinding of folders I strongly recommend finding another music app if you do not want to keep charging your phone every few hours     Scian Scythe

The functionality goes above and beyond what anyone would expect from just looking at the details for this app There are so many functions that you might actually get lost in the settings However the visualizations are a nice touch with a ton of options Buying this was a decision I made in seconds I totally recommend this to anyone since this outstrips many apps that have less features for more Finding tracks is easy and you can find missing tracks through the scanning option quickly                     Brogan Nilsson

Cool but kinda messy sometimes in terms of UI it would be neat to have some features to hide some buttons like shuffle play find ect at the top of artists album artists lists and some fields like in Folder Hierarchy list the folders tend to have the parent directory name right below their names for me it is unnecessary and only a visual noise And a feature to hide small artists with configurable amout tracks would be nice                 Double.

I would give 5 stars if you brought back the old star rating for songs instead of this Thumbs Up Down system Certain albums have songs with different ratings such as I liked it as 4 stars but not 5 I ll listen to it 3 stars It ll most likely get skipped 2 stars Skip 1 star Please incorporate this in next update                 Cory Stuart

Thank you for the best music player for Android I m having trouble with sound output on pie custom ROMs The sound is too low on earphones and on Bluetooth speakers My device is OnePlus 5t No issues when I play on stock ROM I know it s something to do with the settings Please help Thank you very much                     Sajeef Anto

License verification doesn t work without the internet which is terrible because people normally use the music player when there is no internet License check fail means can t use the app to play songs making the app useless I tried manually multiple times by turning off the internet connection then using the app but each time the license doesn t get verified Need a fix     Pullingfires

After using it for about six years it is still amazing and now with the new update better than ever I live the new more modern UI the new sound engine is instantly noticeable Great job guys keep going Update It seems the enqueue option is no longer working in older PA versions I could be listening to a song then put other songs on queue while still listening to the same song Now when I try this it automatically starts playing the song I m sending to the queue stopping the other                 Gaston Diaz

By far the best offline music player I have seen on Android so far It is complete it features a lot of configuration options and most importantly it sounds great The look and feel is quite good solid friendly not perfect I particularly like the sound management configuration options Since it has so many to offer it inspires to long for other features it lacks                     Miguel Lago

I own what I consider to be the best music players in the Playstore USB Audio Player Neutron JetAudio and PowerAmp Ive owned PowerAmp since 2011 and still believe it has the best easiest to use UI of all the music players New revamp looks awesome I it recommend as best all around player in the Playstore Now for my biggest gripe Please fix speed control It s very choppy and not bit perfect like JetAudio or Neutron Player Please Please fix                 Elbert Bassett

This is the best music player that I have used by far Has a preamp that actually raises the volume level of earbuds headphones and speaker Equilizer goes above and beyond expectations and many other extras that makes this the best music player on the market by far in my opinion Sure it costs 5 00 but if your a true music lover it s a small price to pay for listening to music the way you want it                     Darrin Howell

Poweramp is very much a power user s music player Unfortunately in the pursuit of providing many features it completely ignores usability This app is one of the least intuitive or aethestically pleasing apps I have ever used Things you expect to happen like shuffle modes or queue behaviour don t happen the way you think If you need a full featured player that supports lossless files and HiFi output then sure this app will work But if you actually want to USE it No Find another app         Kevin K

Very good player the equalizers and bass tremble tweaks work great better than any other player i have tried but for some reason when i play it my phone heats up a lot more compared with other music players including spotify which also uses internet not sure why this happens Honor 8                 Hristo Kirov

I have gotten used to the Max MP interface and am finally settling down with it I still prefer the version 2 interface I am running Poweramp on my tablet and it runs well but on my Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android Pie there is a HORRIFIC problem The app cannot see storage even though selected in permissions This is whether your music is on internal or SD Card storage It comes up with Storage is not mounted WHAT I had to switch to VLC with my phone It has equivalent audio quality             A Google user

Best music player ever in a million years Plays audio files Plays video files as audio files Makes any crappy pair of headphones sound terrific Bluetooth and the now dead wired earphones will no longer disappoint you because of this music player Money well spent But of course as everyone else has complained this player does not work without an internet connection Not sure why the developer chooses not to believe this ghost as everytime I am on an airplane this player Cannot License                     AJ J

So far this app is cool Though I have a question I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7 with mostly FLAC files It seems like the output for bluetooth only shows up as 16 bit 44 1Khz even if I m playing a 24 bit 48Khz track Do high sampling rates and 24 bit audio not play on a Galaxy S7                     A Google user

I liked this app so I purchased it in full but then I updated I d give it 5stars but when I plug it in with an audio cable or headset it turns the phone s media volume down u0026 I have to turn it back up EVERY SINGLE TIME That s a PERSONAL CHOICE Not just that but if the headset gets unplugged during movement while driving I LITERALLY have to pull over to fix the volume so that I don t get a ticket for distracted driving Fix this issue u0026 I ll give you 5stars I regret buying it Don t buy it     Marina kitty

One of the true Android greats After years of using this app I could count its nuissances with just one hand and they take nothing from the greatness of this little player The latest GUI update made it a bit less intuitive IMO but all the wonderful features remain and most importantly the crisp playback that s always been there is still top class                     Renato Vicencio

Best audio playing experience ever I have but one gripe That is the volume does this weird this where it normalizes itself by default when peaking even a single band on the equalizer I know it s for safety and everything But when listening on my home system it kinda ruins the experience for me I hope in the next update this normalizing thing would be an option rather than automatic Or a speaker mode maybe                     Mir Rakibuzzaman

Had to take some away because Poweramp likes to ignore the tags I ve set Specifically it fabricates its own dates for the year tag If I set the year to 0001 it changes it to 2001 If I set it to 0021 it changes it to 1921 It also only reads four digits so you can t do yyyy mm dd for example It s making organizing my music VERY frustrating Edit Also it s odd that you can t press back to go to the last place you were rather than up one in the app s own heirarchy             Connor Turner

Was fantastic but now having probs with it reading sd card it kept telling me failed to play storage unmounted which is where I store my music I know my sd card is fine because my old music player does not have a problem so not sure what is wrong with it Waiting reply from dev             Keith Pritchard

It s obvious a lot of thought and effort went into this compared to other free music player apps The biggest benefit is that it circumvents the well known obnoxious bug in Android related to the system media scanner that Google never fixed The media scanner built into Android frequently has issues and the system database therefore doesn t have a proper record of the music you have added to your device Most players use the system database and therefore can t find certain files because they don t show up with the proper artist and song title However Poweramp uses their own scanner and database so this is a complete non issue The scanner was fast too It added all 7400 songs on my device in just a few minutes The app is also very fast and the UI is nice Additionally they have implemented the ability to have the full app accessible over the lock screen which is disabled by default but can be enabled in the options This is great for the security minded folks like myself that have a short lock time on their phone and a strong password I don t need to constantly unlock my phone to change the song or playlist which is a beautiful thing                     Ryan Turcotte

I ve been a paid Poweramp user for years now and was a very enthusiastic convert to V3 when it came out and loved the new layout HOWEVER in the past few months I ve had MAJOR sound issues when Samsung Music app starts to sound better there is 100 a MAJOR problem Also the app overheats my Note 8 every now and then forcing me to close the app for a bit and let the phone cool down again before reopening I ve NEVER had any of these issues before and a fix would be greatly appreciated Thx         Lisa Yacky

Wish i had an option to give negative feedback The apps seems to have compatibility issues with pixel series The support is the worst i haven t got any reply from them in last 2 days Worst app i have ever purchased Should have gone for the other paid music player app I trusted my friend s experience and went with this And I regret my decision now     akash tk

Good app with a few small annoyances the most notable one being that in the folder hierarchy view it doesn t start inside the specified music folder but rather forces you to click on said folder manually every time which is very annoying Please fix this I also remember a different UI from the last time I had this installed on a device but I can t really say if the new one is better or worse             Google User

ugg where do I start it lacks several features that most modern music players have such as a play next option and basic notification customisation such as removing the X button the other thing is the UI is confusing hard to navigate by the way if there are lyrics embedded in your music you won t be able to see it the only good thing is the audio quality I recommend using musicolet     gabriel gutman

this was once the greatest music player app out there and two updates and redesign it has become complete unusable It will jump from track to track I don t know what they were thinking when they put the weird lightning bolts all over everything oh but it does nothing to enhance your ability to find the tracks you want and it just takes valuable screen space find a different player     Thomas Kachadurian
