Its exactly what they say it does This app lets you turn down your brightness lower than your phone normally lets you You open the app like any other to enable it It does not appear in your open apps You cant turn it off on accident Hold down on the notification to adjust the added dimming Small bug it wont do this with youtube open Tap the app icon to disable the dimming Its super simple very useful a must have app                     Chandler saylor

No it doesn t reduce brightness It reduces color contrast of picture This is why screenshot image is dull even after increasing brightness to full Because it reduces picture quality not brightness So it doesn t save batry i think But usefull for night use I got what I needed in small size app Thanks                 Aashish Thethwar

This does exactly what it s supposed to do darken up your screen a bit more than the default so you can use it in a darkened room without bothering anyone I have one complaint With my Samsung in night mode all of the notifications turn black with white print except for the one that s there when Screen Filter is running Notification slide is not under the filter so if I pull it down the bright white Screen Filter Running notification is blinding Please make it black                 Kevin Sexton

I use this app every single night almost and it delivers everytime Just as another reviewer said it just does its thing for years Thanks Dev BTW not sure what critical review says they installed this app and suddenly all their browsers redirect to scams but that s not the case for me I m not sure they even know what app is causing that problem for them                     M Kennedy

Biggest complaint is that it s so difficult to pick a percentage of how dim you want the screen Touch it a little and it shoots 10 Phone doesnt even support the lower percentages so wish they would fix that App does what it says it will do though             Kos sy

It is so simple Just don t try 0 I didn t like one thing I found in most of the apps that it is just filter not lowering the brightness thus isn t battery saving at all             Obad Sob

been using this app for years works perfectly light weight and easy as can be I understand this app hasn t been updated in years but I have 1 suggestion and 1 bug to report suggestion remove the ability to completely black the screen just a bad idea bug maybe it s a safety feature but when active I cannot install apks from SD I can uninstall all day however                 schaddly

works very well so well in fact that you will be very screwed if you set the parameters ridiculously low there should be some confirmation before setting a very low brightness                 el cucumber

This was a great app on my last phone Being able to dim the screen beyond the standard settings means being able to use your phone in places not normally allowed I could even use it in the movie theater without disturbing anyone else Unfortunately it doesn t work entirely on my new S9 It won t dim the shade menu or the soft keys which are bright enough by themselves to disturb others Hopefully there s an update coming as I find this app to be one of the must haves                     Ewok N. I had two issues on my Galaxy A7 2016 The first one was screen flickering on low brightness and the second one was that my screen wouldnt turn on after I press the unlock button I always had to press it at least five times and sometimes it took more than 5 minutes of unlock button spamming It was really annoying but this app fixed both problems Amazing app highly recommended for anyone with similar problems or to someone who just wants even lower brightness on their phone and more screen options                     A Google user
