It used to be my favourite gallery app for many years Now I m getting error messages about cloud backup no longer being supported what and with Android 10 it is perpetually in the notification window as running in the background This is sad QuickPic used to do exactly what I needed and very well Now it has become a source of annoyance Gone Steve Smith
One star since in the latest version it insists on running in the background and needing to be force closed This app used to be great but for every update it gets worse The sad part is that it s still the best gallery app which says a lot about the sorry state of these apps on Android Also the app is prone to crashes and does this on about a third of starts Petter Senften
I don t know what happened to this app it used to be the best gallery there was But now it struggles performing simple tasks and has more annoyances than utility When I want to delete something on my SD card it asks for permissions I give it to the app then go back to delete it only to get stuck in a loop this is the same with moving anything which is what I initially installed the app for back on my very first phone making this app more useless than the basic gallery app Joel C
FIVE STARS Have used this for many years NOW For the last six months it crashes constantly playing videos closes the app it has an unrelenting notice that their Cloud will no longer be supported in three months for six months Through the past several updates the only way to close the battery sucking app from running in the background is to do a Force Close in App Info We and about several thousand other people have written unanswered comments about these problems u0026 no one c Susie Marty
Best gallery available no issues It has everything I needed and the security feature even keeps out Google Photos from viewing the files They can still be accessed without the pass if you dig through the program files but it s not a common issue you d encounter And if the folder is named something unassuming you d have no problems from the overly curious My only issue is that it constantly runs in the background Presumably for cloud services but mine are already disabled without a diff Ethan Glass

Android Go 8 1 U683CL just DLd and it looks fantastic and amazingly fast and useful However on the second move of 9 pictures they are now gray squares and it says load failed I m restarting and see what rating I will come back and make Yay pictures are back Guess it takes time However notification stays on will not shut down unless Force Stop EM KX

Edit 3 App still has issue playing videos if they ve been moved from their original folder even if the move was performed in app But not always which is odd Newest update brought the QuickPic is running notification which can only be removed through a force stop Annoying But I am sticking with this app because it s pretty darn handy And I have faith that the kinks will get worked out eventually Mark Benson

Goodbye QuickPic I ve been a loyal user for many years and have recommended QuickPic to so many people but I just can t take it anymore First it started failing when trying to play videos then the annoying CM Cloud pop up that you are forced to look at for 4 seconds each and every time you open the app and now it stays open in the background and drains battery So many other people are complaining about these issues but the developer seems to just ignore them It s such a shame Ruan Lubbe

This has been my go to app for YEARS used to be snappy intuitive customizable and truly functional but on my new Pixel 3 it s basically unusable It runs constantly in the background once I open it and I have to force stop it all the time and it can t load photos and videos anymore I get maybe the first 3 10 photos in a folder and then the rest are just black squares Really sad to have to find a new app Kelsey Detwiler

The most efficient photo organizer for Android Full featured intuitive and bug free I only wish it would allow me to block caching by certain native applications I suggest as I do for all photo apps that users do not take photographs or scan inages of charge cards checks legal documents or related materials There is very little privacy remaining on the internet or public networks We ve learned that Google isn t necessarily safer than Cheetah Mobile and that data is always vulnerable Neil Ross

Android has started telling me that QuickPic is running in the background I can t seem to get it to stop And it is using network data It s a shame really I loved how this app used passwords pins could exclude folders and show hidden folders Not worth the questionable background activity Why does a picture app need to run in the backgound consistently or use network data QuickPic is shutting off a cloud storage option which I never enabled created an account for or used klaatu barada nikto

Quickpic now has a service running in the background that you have to force close after you re finished with the app otherwise you ll have to deal with a notification that can t be dismissed saying that Quickpic is running in the background This is after a series of incompetent updates that have lead to other annoying features as the app s end of life is being phased in Asriel Repp

All advertised features work great and it has several features many gallery apps don t like setting cover photos and several layout theme u0026 sort options I giving 3 stars b c I can t find how to change the bright pink neon font which is hard to look at u0026 read no help FAQs how to instructions when you click the link or Icon list of commands options at the top should be on the bottom so it is easier u0026 more comfortable to use Lady Gray
