It s pretty good with my phone I wished it didn t frame drop when you shoot at 24fps or 30fps Like when you shoot at 24fps in one shot then in the next shot 23 fps Kinda sucked Also there tends to be a lot of noise in shots I usually get Which is pretty annoying when getting quality video It s not the best but it s enough for the newbie filmmaker to chew on til they eventually grow out of it             LightBulb_ Productions

Seems like a nice app but when playing back the recorded video it plays just the audio with the first frame of the video as a still frame and then when the video player progress bar shows that the clip is finished playing the video starts playing with no audio I have tried it several times at several resolutions and in the regular Android video player as well as through Photos and they all do the same thing I purchased this for record from Bluetooth capability On a Galaxy S7     Ben Blackburn

Absolutely awesome app for my Samsung Tab A Full control of lighting ISO u0026 focus I think it captures video footage far more superior than the generic Samsung app and I no longer feel frustrated when making perfect takes only to find it going out of focus or lighting darkening up when I playback thumbs up                     James Campbell

I have the FV 5 Camera app but had to buy this to record video Its alright but it wont let me manually focus the way I can on the Camera app despite the promo here showing that you can manually focus while filming             Cleo Taylor

I used to love love love the fv 5 camera and video camera when they were in the same app Now they have ruined the video camera 1 They did away with the ability to pause and restart the video camera so when you pause it now it saves the video and you have to start a new one each time you pause it Awful Also the camera app itself which is now a separate app has a PAINFULLY SLOW ZOOM on it now You ARE GONNA MISS THE SHOT if you try to zoom in because it takes so long to zoom in     mountaingoat1100

this app is awesome in every way really love it but theres just one problem i hope someone is able to solve it the external mic isnt worki g with the front camera it works fine with the back camera but as soon as i switch to the front camrera it picks up the audio feom the phone instead of my mic can someone please help me with it i even mailed on the support email but no response                     Parsi Kekra

No limits on recording time All cameras in the EU inc phones have a 15 minutes record time to be class as Cameras and not video recorder that fall in a different import duty bracket I already have a HDD camcorder and don t want to buy another for 4K as my Note 8 phone can record 4k but with this app I can use my phone like a camcorder and record for as long as I have battery and space I recently recorded over an hour non stop with this app Only down side is if I am using my Osmo 2 gimbal that requires you to use there app if you want to use the stop start zoom etc buttons on the Osmo so what I do is use the FV 5 app and a BT shutter switch I can only set it up to either stop start or zoom as it requires mapping of the volume keys to the camera function Have to change my review half the video I recorded ended up 0 kb blank files App keeps crashing and even though I set the recording resolution to 4K it is only recording HD     Stuart McIntosh

I just wanted to say THANKS and though you guys haven t updated in a while it s nice to have an advanced camera that works for those of us who don t have a Camera2 api I can t run none of the modern phone apps on my Moto E5 Plus but I can run CameraFV 5 and even if you guys finally do an update please don t disable these features for those of us with lesser specs or if you do update to the Camera2 specs give us the ability to run the older version                     Chris English

I really like this app but I have a couple things that I m not sure if it is user issue or not 1 when using a Bluetooth mic it works great on the rear camera when I switch to the front camera the Bluetooth mic no longer works It switches to the internal mic Is this a bug or something I am doing wrong 2 using on my pixel 2 XL the front camera works well but on my Galaxy S8 the front camera is only a square 4 3 it won t goto 16 9 I may have that set won t also                 Curtis MacDonald

I m happy with almost every single thing except that when I upload videos to Facebook they have no audio on ios Audio plays fine on Android and Pc This also happens when it s uploaded through pc not just directly from oneplus 5 Also audio speed is distorted when editing on Premiere Pro so I have to run it through Handbrake to edit But it s nice to be able to use an external mic     Coach DribbleDrive
