The Salt Lake Comic Con FanX is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. I got this so I could have access to the panel schedule When I m at the event location and I open the app it goes through its startup and errors out saying that it can t download assets and locks I to a cycle of attempting to reload data This really should be setup to download changes not the entire data set I m aware that some data updates need to be made but most of the apps data is static why do I get blocked from opening the app if it can t download data at the start     Mark Tanner

The app works just fine with a detailed map and descriptions of each panel along with a schedule You can make your own schedule with reminders up to an hour before the event and see details for each panel There s even a filter so you can see just what you want to see A very good app                     Iz ierd

scheduling is great and simple overall presentation of the app is nice however anytime I get a notification and try to open it the app launches into the home page and I never get to read the full notification I dont see anywhere in the app to see or read notifications For example I know I got a message telling me about the after party but when I clicked on it to see more details the app loaded into the home screen and I can t find anymore info on the app party or that message I got         Kyle Rees

this app is just awful i know theres a comic con there next month and im wanting to go but wanting a app like this THAT WORKS RIGHT instead of giving only meetups the guest list was all wrong too i guess i wont have an app to keep me updated this has ruined my first comic con and i no long want to go just wait outside to see if the man playing gimli leaves so i can great him thats really all i wanted to go for anyway     jen Truax

This app isn t usually perfect lag bugs but its never too bad I love coming to FanX and this app makes things great To everyone who is complaining about the app deleting their schedule or the panels being removed From what I know going to FanX for multiple years the panel schedule is usually not confirmed until about the day before FanX starts So just wait patiently and make up your schedule on Thursday                 Jared Burgon

I usually don t write reviews but the app struggles to do even the most basic of its functions It only has to do a limited number of things but has many bugs crappy design that can be fixed with minimal effort and many times doesn t even have all of the panels that are going on Every year they fix one thing and break others They don t need fancy features they just need to do the fundamentals and do them well     A Google user

The app for the convention this year is so glitchy Not only do I keep getting notifications for panels and events I haven t marked I get spammed pop up notifications for the panels I have added to my schedule The filters included irrelevant panels and missed those that should have been included And finally the personalized schedule I made in the app has been deleted four times over three days This app is next to useless I ve gotten more use out of the printed program this year     Adam Coon

Last year 2015 it was fine This year 2016 it has a blatant problem There is NO REASON for it to require turning on Bluetooth That is totally out of line and you need to fix that Edit for 2018 The new problem this year is that it is giving literally 40 on screen alerts for every panel And it deleted my schedule twice during the weekend Argh     Rocky Hinten

Don t ask the app to remind you of an event It won t dismiss notifications and had to uninstall reinstall the app to get it to work again Also after an hour or so it wants to download data in which it takes minutes to look at the schedule It s frustrating to use Please fix it     Justin Groves

First I had the issue of the app removing my saved schedule That finally stopped but now my notifications are making the app unusable unless I uninstall reinstall and set up my schedule again I hit OK on the notifications for the panels on my schedule but they immediately pop back up over and over making it so I can t actually use the app     Alexis Eilander
