What s the big idea that it starts playing an incoming message on speaker without authorization I tried using it to communicate with friends around the world different time zones only to wake up in the middle of the night hearing messages Not to mention privacy issues What a terrible default And this is after turning off the start on incoming voice message option That s a deal breaker ladies     Roni Hogri

My friends and I have used Zello for about a year and a half now as former Voxer users which is a similar app However within the last few months my friends complain that they didn t receive my voice messages and I haven t received random messages they sent We exchanged screen shots of the messages and the lengths from each one of our mobile phones and it was surprising yet frustrating how many messages we all failed to receive from one another Strangely this app is now unreliable             Karmen Ardie

Constantly asking me to turn on off the wifi Super annoying I understand it is to conserve data usage but FFS stop asking It turned my wifi off without my permission as well resulting in unintentional data usage No option to stop it from happening I control my wifi precisely how I want it to I don t need this constant notification and DO NOT want intrusive apps controlling my system settings     Jason Chan

Used to work fine but now it s always turning off my WiFi If I tell the phone to not allow that to happen Zello gives me a constant message to allow it that permission In this case Zello will not connect through the cellular data signal until I give it permission to control my WiFi This is unacceptable Please eliminate this issue as you should not be turning off my WiFi period Version 4 70 is still having this issue Zello email support said version 4 71 is slowly rolling out to fix this         Matthew Pearce

Motoz Z2 force I have used this app for almost four years now Never had any issues until recently All of the options to text zello alert and sign out keep disappearing on me after being signed into this app for an hour or so I have deleted it and reinstalled it three times Still having issues Please help                 Es B

We tried this app on 2 old blackview phones and it worked great So we purchased 3 kerosero pro 2 s which Zello listed on the website as being great phones and Zello would work great We moved everything to Zelloworks which is a private network and the cost is 8 00 per phone per month As it turns out the voice quality is very bad lots of static comes through I tried to get to my account on the computer which is the only way to make changes and I could not get the website to even let me sign in I tried 3 different browsers and nothing worked I tried calling and could only leave a message I sent custormer service a message and never received an answer back I hope maybe this is just a fluke and others have had better results     Ted Shaffer

No kidding this is one of my most used apps I use it to talk to my neighbor while I m working remotely on his computer via TeamViewer Except I m in another country This app makes me feel that I m still just next door I also use it in church during live services to talk to my fellow musicians without undue gestures and physical visible prompts Best app and highly recommended                     Gideon Ashur Seale

It s a great app however I am not happy that every few minutes it pops up asking me to allow zello to turn my wifi on and off Why do you need that permission It shows that I allowed it once and you did in fact shut my wifi off Causing me to use a ton of mobile data I do not like that and I m thinking of uninstalling             Rebecca Pearson

The person who created this app is a genius I flippen love it I was quite mind blowned especially when the app is closed and one of my friends radios me and the app opens automatically in the background crazy The reason why I gave it only 4 stars is the fact that I struggle to add contacts and a few contacts In my address book that has Zello installed shows that they don t have the app and I need to invite them to install the app even though they already have it other than that Greatness                 Conroy Daniels

can you put an option to rewind and fast forward a message you get from another person so my friend send me a message and i wanted to rewind then fast forward but i dont see an option to do that i come from using voxer app but that app kept messing up and messages werent going thru but one thing i liked was being able to rewind and fast forward a message to a certain time in the message                     Manny prays116

Been using the app for ages Very happy I have a question though Alixpress are now selling walkie talkie phones with the Zello app installed One that I am particularly interested is the Anusec A18 that has a 400 to 470 mhz radio feature as well But it is using android 4 2 which is a bit old Is it worth buying or would you not recommend                 Khell Van der Lith

BEWARE EVERYTIME YOU PRESS PTT EVEN IN ANOTHER APP IT WILL BRING UP ZELLO STOPPING YOUR USE OF OTHER APPS You can get around the problem on my N60 by Zello Options Hardware PTT Delete the harware PTT Capture a new hardwre PTT this brings up 2 PTTs delete the harware PTT leaving you just the PTT you created edit this by unchecking the run in foreground box Apart from the annoying feature above the app is great and very useful         Kevin Hogg

no videos or pictures giving it another try I ve messed with all settings but when someone starts talking it automatically comes through is there a way to just get a notification when someone talks to me instead of it automatically playing the message         A Google user

love the app will change to 5 stars once someone can tell me how to disable auto play for messages cant find the setting i only want the audio to play when im in the app like on iphone whereas with my samsung if i get a message it will just play even if my phone is locked thanks         Skylar Trudeau

I think that Zello is brilliant and I can speak to alkinds of different radio amateurs around the world and I ve made lots of different friends on the amateur radio channels and there s always somebody to chat with so that s what I think of Zello it s really good                     Stephen Disley
