Tried it on my Galaxy Nexus running ICS Got as far as illuminating the right side of the screen for about 30 seconds then crashed the phone such that it hung up on the boot animation Had to take out the battery to get it to boot in time for a refund     No good on Galaxy Nexus
Not even worth trying     Sucks
Scans from front camera based on screen reflections amazing saves 3D obj you can load in 3D viewer and saves screen shotssmooth triangles points or wireframenot perfect but innovativetried on Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S4                 Try this app
Sadly doesnt work on galaxy nexus running ICS Camera never seems to be triggered
Doesnt work at all Wont even take a picture with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean just freezes up and causes the phone to reboot I was lucky to get it going again in time for a refund     Doesnt work at all
Not working back camera        HTC one
Using a Google Nexus S I downloaded this late one evening and immediately sat up in bed and took a 3d scan of my face From what little I knew of 3d scanning I would never have thought this was possible let alone capable of being so simple NB As the usage instructions explain it doesnt like an background light and it produces intereting but not very useful results if youre wearing glasses The scans are quite rough but clearly recognisable and the oncamera viewer lets you easily rotate your view around your scan The most startling piece of software Ive yet seen running on an Andoid phon Im not sure how to clean up the Obj exports but have hopes of using them into 3d modelling software Two requests to the Author could you add direct Obj export to DropBox and could you provide any guidance on using the Obj files Meshlab can read them but they dont look anything like as smooth as the onphone rendering                 Fantastic piece of software
I think there is potential Try reducing the white color spot to be much smaller so there is a single point of light and a more distinct shadow edge to capture Also add a function to remove surroundings As it is now it does not work well           Maybe potential
Totally amazed got a great scan of my ear                 It works
Its a good start But on my HTC Glacier TMobile Touch the wireframes are VERY flat I will continue to play with it and look forward to updates in the future              Its a good start
Neat concept wish could take photos 360 around an object For now will only do your face and for me it turns me into an ape           Needs some work but good for a laugh
