As an avid reader of articles essays and longform journalism I find Pocket to be the best The design of Pocket is clean and simple with just the right features except for one missing feature I wish they had the ability to bookmark your place in a long article that you can t finish in one sitting Pocket s emails suggesting new reads based on what you ve read are excellent and I look forward to getting them Thanks                     Irv Cantor
Did you ever think that the only way to get through all those saved news articles and long reads you have accumulated would be to have someone read them to you instead Well now you can with this app At a slightly diminished quality since it s a robot reading to you And best of all for free It will just mine all your data and likes to sell you adds but hey what s new right FYI works with almost anything white papers science journal articles medical journals Go wild                     Orlando Machado
Wouldn t be without it Lets you save articles so you always have something you re interested in reading when you re waiting for a train or an appointment is running late Use tags and you ll be able to find anything you keep I once told someone about an interesting article I d read and he wanted to read it too it took me less than a minute to find it and email him a link Love it                     armadyne2097
I am really loving how this app is No complaints so far It s been about 2 hours since I installed this I would recommend a feature where the app syncs stuff even when I am reading thru the in app browser coz I like to know what I am pocketing before I do so And while doing so I get involved in it and read it so much that I forget where I left off And it can be irritating if I can t find that spot later on Top notch otherwise                     Dhairya Mistry
Excellent app to store and read any article in a much more user friendly format Is quite effective at capturing articles behind some pay walls has a night reading feature white text on black background and will even read the articles to you One feature missing or that I have not discovered yet and that would be an excellent addition is a feature to permit sharing of all our some of the stored or archived articles with different groups of friends and family                     MEG MOUSE
Pocket is the best app I have ever used I do a lot of reading but I don t always have time to read everything that I wish to read so I save it to Pocket and everything I save is laid out so neatly and conveniently that I can get to the articles or videos I saved with tags I absolutely love this app                     pac52
I have used Pocket for years as a means to retain articles Web pages information i e akin to an archive It is a high quality stable application which is usable across the multiple devices that I use for research I use tags extensively and although an archive facility exists not being offline means that I do not really use it If there was one additional function that I could have it would be offline sub folders which would allow the structured archiving of the material retained BRILLIANT                     Bill Gibson
I used to write pocket 5 stars however since the pocket icon was removed from Firefox on my phone I don t like it as much because I can t just simply tap the pocket icon and save a page to listen to Listening to a page sometimes is much easier than reading it for many people Maybe this isn t the fault of the pocket Developers but instead Firefox or Mozilla Either way copying a URL to paste or open in Pocket is ridiculous         Jeff Hatfield
Love this app I use it often when traveling I go through my normal news scrapers click the link to the article and then share with Pocket I ll do multiple in rapid succession Then when on the plane I can read the articles all from within Pocket WITH pictures and without internet access Super                     Simon Cohn
I have been using this app for 3 plus years A great app for saving web content and news articles to read later One major drawback I personally faced is unable to create labels more than 25 characters which ends up creating many labels and I have ended up with few dozens I have been asking to increase labels length for last 2 years as I use it heavily Another issue is some saved articles do not include pictures and video links from original Web sites                     Prasad N
Paired with the newsletter this app provides you with tons of reading materials The reading experience font size background color and the clean aesthetic of the Article view is one of the best I ve seen It is also really useful to store those links that you can t spare to lose throughout the day week or month I couldn t get used to the listening mode though                     Thiago Camargo
This is a great app for saving articles and web pages to read later I it a lot to save recipes and writing inspiration to look through later on my desktop Thanks to that my bookmarks are a lot less cluttered The team is also very repsonsive I reported a bug and heard back from support with a fix the next day                     Ashley A
Although I still learn to the app I really like it Save and read articles is easy and nice to read Highlights is the best for my learning to understand English and I would definitely appreciate add note to my highlights Thanks for nice application Best regards                 Elevenz Hawk
I love this app it s absolutely perfect for keeping my online recipes stored and organized It gives you the ability to tag each article and this makes everything easily accessible I really like the layout since each article is listed with a thumbnail image Using the article playlist even allows you to have each article read out loud to you Great                     Jill Placey
I ve been using Pocket since 2014 and it s one of the apps I don t want to live without In 2018 I was in the top 5 of Pocket readers just to give you an idea of how much I rely on Pocket Whenever I find an article worth reading I save it in the Pocket app and read it without the interrupting ads yes even in the free version Although I ve been a Pocket premium member it s really not necessary to purchase the premium version to enjoy everything that Pocket has to offer                     Shivam Jalan
This is one of the best app to save articles or web pages to read them later It lets you access them at any time and also make it possible to read them offline but that feature among others is only available for premium members Why didn t I give it five stars Because sometimes it omitts some of the text from articles in app view which force me to read in web view otherwise it is fantastic I hope they will fix it soon                 Gurpal Singh Gill
It s great when I m reading stuff on the go and the themes are pretty good considering Just wasn t really happy with the how fickle it can be with downloads but as long as you check if the article downloaded before turning of your wifi if you do that then it should be fine                 Alyssa Fernando
I really want to love Pocket it s a simple idea that should be really useful But most of the time it just doesn t work I mainly use it to store recipes so i can shop for ingredients easily And around 7 out of 10 times i will go to pocket And half the article is missing Usually the ingredients I ve stuck with it for a couple of years but no more Sorry guys it s not fit for purpose Well my purposes anyway         lee underwood
A single missing feature ruins the experience for me I cannot skip ahead or back when the app loses its place in tracking where I left off and this happens a lot For example when running with runkeeper or when a call comes in often the spot isn t saved The text goes to top and I have to find the spot by clicking manually the skip ahead dozens of times For long articles where the app is actually the most useful this is practically impossible Just do a YouTube like scroller slider     Dimitris Athanasiadis
I do wish the search functions can be there and I would argue that you lose a golden opportunity of marketing by just returning nothing for a search You could at least say search not available in the free version Otherwise Pocket does a very good job striping useful content from very busy websites I now almost exclusively read my online context with it It saves time data usage and my vision no more extra small fonts from websites                 SDS T-Oaks
Pocket is absolutely the go to App among read it later Applications It comes pregnant with a wealth of features that puts it in a class of its own I am particularly impressed with its friendly and polished user interface prompt responses to commands and no crash interactivity The inclusion of FOLDERS perhaps in later renditions will be the ickng on the cake Kudos to the developers                     Dr. Ajman Mensah
Pocket is easy to use has always worked smoothly on my devices laptop through browser OnePlus and Motorola phones iPod touch iPad and is my favourite way to read I often save articles to Pocket even if i am going to read them immediately because the design is more pleasing than most websites                     Shruti N
I have used this App for years now and it always remains a backbone of my Online saved Content To show my loyalty I recently upgraded to the Premium version as I feel the developers and support staff deserve some credit and support The only improvement I would encourage is the ability to store in either article or web view as I have found the article review can miss out important text                 Martin Arnold
Pocket is a fantastic way to collect and organize important and interesting information from the internet I use it to organize and collect educational blog posts and information for all of my interests Very useful to have a place to save everything and it feels easier and more visual than normal web bookmarks especially on mobile                     Alex Courter
Super handy app There were some issues with sites I frequently use I emailed them with the issue and they immediately replied saying they will look in to it Afterwards they send me another email a long while later to tell me the issue had been resolved Awesome                     Chrissy is pissy
Great app and user experience I see lots of articles throughout the day that I don t have time to read at that moment Pocket integrates well with my phone Kobo reader and browser and enables me to read when I have the time I don t need to miss interesting articles anymore and can find what I read in the past                     Allan MacLeod
If you enjoy reading long ish articles from multiple sites or researches from different online sources Pocket is an app that ll help you compile a reading list into one place Plus there s also some very useful formatting options and features to keep your library tidy The app s use is quite limited however there s not much use for it other than being a handy link collection tool                 Chalit Ratapana
This is a great program When I get a notification during my busy day about an article I d like to read it s so nice to be able to store it away for later I also love that the app saves my place in an article for later which is especially nice for longform pieces                     Ben Zinnecker
Great to read though blogs or other collections in a distraction free environment and keep track of what you have and haven t read I use it with zapier to pull RSS feed articles automatically so I don t need to go checking if there s a new post                     Kenan Bitikofer
I ve used Pocket for over 5yrs never had a problem Simple and easy to use You have the ability to simply catalog specific articles for future reference The settings allows you to customize the app for your specific preferences                     Ken Ridley
technically it s a great app and i love it BUT it doesn t download about half of the stuff for offline reading i tried changing the settings letting pocket decide which view was best always downloading article view downloading with mobile data etc and nothing seems to work         Effy Weasley
Pocket is very useful for saving stories that you have read and want to reread It is also excellent for storing stories that you have skimmed or scanned for a future detailed read It is a wonderful resource for waiting time in airports and when your mobile is in flight mode                     Rob Lindsay
A very useful app for reference Sometimes you read something and later vaguely recollects the contrnt ans source and find it difficult to retrace it But once you have saved it into pocket and and added tags its very easy to find the articke and go throuhu it again and again Highly recommended                     Benny Mathews
Pocket let s me focus on what s in front of me instead of getting distracted by articles or stories I see while working and let s me come back to it when it makes sense It s really the only reason I can keep up with the world and the amazing writing that explores it                     Andrew Boucher
Love this app I use it everyday Only problem is when I open a saved article in webview it show the content for a few seconds and then it becomes a blank page even if I have wifi enabled Edit The app now loads fine Thank you for fixing it                     Elena Palos
I tried this a couple of weeks ago and it worked ok for me update two more things I need to be able to send a specific sequence of text to the app and I need to re order the entries before during read back             Aaron Urbina
