Don t waste your money I bought the flash device for a phone that had no built in flash The app has never functioned properly and I have suffered through a lot of betas and updates expecting some day to have a working flash This has not happened and I feel a bit ripped off I have paid a high price for a glorified mini flashlight I have just tried the app on my tablet in the hope that I might get some use from the device and the results are just as appallingly bad The flash activates either before or after the picture is taken on both devices so I might as well be plugging it into an other oriface as plugging it into the phone or tablet Finally the app is portrait only and it is not possible to display the configuration screen as the gear icon does nothing I had high hope for this product and the app and have been let down by both I strongly recommend you don t give these people any money     Paul S

I m using a LGV10 and I always have a hard time switching cameras I have to press several times the icon in order to make it work Same issue with flash when I press the button to take the picture it takes that long to turn the light on that the camera shoots 2 seconds before the flash shoots         Too slow Carlos Cuneo

Works well with LG G4 I use the unit itself on a 4 pole extension cable so I can have the flash wherever I need it For those saying it doesn t work make sure your music media volume is at max and remember that many phones mine included will automatically reduce the volume when you plug something into the headphone socket For the dev something visual to confirm that it s actually taken a pic would be good I was pressing the button for ages thinking it wasn t working Didn t realise it had been working all along until I went into the gallery                 Amanda N

The flash worked well using the on off button it s brighter than phone s built in Now after exactly a picture and a video it simply FC every time it flashes when shutter button is pushed then immediately FC so no image captured I see that this app hadn t been updated since 2015 but I m reluctant to install Shotlight same dev new version instead because of the size iblazru003d1 mb shotlightu003d50mb same thing but bloated 50x more I don t need all the bells and whistles just a sound generator to activate the add on camera flash Another issue can t switch to front camera like some other people experienced         Andy M
