This is terrible everytime i go back to music folder it rescans why doesn t it hold it in its memory Very poor on top of that it takes an age to scan Then it just freezes on the Amplifier because it s rescanning For a big corporation that is poor     David Jacques

I bought an expensive receiver with Play fi several years back It s never worked well Connection drops regularly interrupt the music Services dont work or need invasive unnecessary permissions Every few months I open this app hoping updates will have improved things But it only seems to get worse At the moment none of the services i use are working Done with play fi forever     S K

The latest version of this app works quite well Connects easily to my Klipsch Play Fi devices The music services need some work in Canada for example Amazon Music is not supported in Canada and iHeart radio only supports US stations I ended up having to cancel my Amazon Music subscription and switch to Spotify to get music support on the entire system However to use Spotify you need to open both the Play fi app and the Spotify App to listen to Spotify Hopefully they can make it in 1 app                 Shaun Haddrell

needs to support google music Sonos does And I also get Sirius XM drops similar to another reviewer Altho the sound quality of the playfi speakers i have are way ahead of sonos the fact the app is missing google music and has issues with sirius xm makes it hard to leave sonos         E. Streams lossless compression wirelessly to multiple speaker locations well 99 of the time I had trouble with my old access point replaced it with a new one and DTS Play Fi is almost 100 solid now The system is a bit too complex for my wife and kids to use but I love being able to stream my music this way Tidal including MQA without lossy compression throughout the house Video mode works pretty well I don t use it much I don t know of any alternative that will stream losslessly which is important to me I would prefer a system that is more automagic but this is worth it to me                 Curt K

Rubbish do not consider we tried to replace a logitech Duet with an Arcam Play and this terrible software The Play speaker was wired via Ethernet Play kept stopping and then saying it can not find the server our home network is all Ethernet and a wireless access point centrally located with perfect conectivty we never get network problems This play software seems to just drop at the slightest problem and music stops Squeeze Duet re installed and working perfect unlike this software     Simon Grove

Works great with Amazon music terrible with SiriusXM Will only operate on 2 4G wifi which is crowded and slow You would think they would adopt 5G wifi with a streaming service They need to catch up with technology         Daniel Baker

I just purchased a set of Martin Logan Bravado wireless speakers and tried to set them up using this app and nothing worked I had to set the wifi password manually by using the webpage on the speakers Now that the password is set play fi wants to update the firmware on the speakers which never works It starts with Update 1 of 2 Downloading then fails It eventually fails with Update failed I tried all the troubleshooting steps which fail When I to try to access the martin logan link from the app it get a 404 error page not found I m not sure what to do on this issue it would nice to get some guidance     Damon L

Crude and minimalist at best There s nothing to adjust but the volume no EQ treble bass or anything This app s only trick is driving multiple sets of speakers At least on an Onkyo the sound has waaaay too much mid range and almost no bass It s really uncomfortable to listen to Sound is fine through the headphone jack         Kevin McMurtrie

Rotten interface no notion of source and destination and cannot handle subfolders so useless for casting from an NAS set up as DLNA server use Hi fi Cast instead much more flexible and supports subfolders     Bernard Moret
