at times when I really wanted to make some moves due to news I couldn t even login and scroll on the landinf page I ended up having to download on my work iphone it is an odd app at times and not sure why I ve done a few android apps so I have tried to figure it out for them but I can only imagine it is designed in an odd way given my usage of this app     Andrew Phillips

The app function is alright but CIBC mobile banking and mobile broker is problematic at least the current versions It s unstable and unreliable in general It appears to be the worst first thing in the morning when there is heavy traffic and many users would be trying to access the online trading system It either won t log on at all or boots you out repeatedly with some session timed out message Seems like a simple bandwidth issue Here s an idea how about CIBC spend a few of the multiple billions of dollars profit they make every year and build a bulletproof online system that actually works and is reliable It s completely unacceptable for one of Canada s largest banks to have such an unreliable half baked online platform don t you agree I wonder how many customers would have to leave CIBC before they felt it was worth simply fixing their issues and actually retaining those customers instead         A Google user

The app needs an overhaul and improvements account nicknames dont propagate to mobile when set on desktop It makes viewing multiple accounts harder Intraday shows up by default then previous day where the desktop is the opposite The UI needs a bit of a refresh It wastes a lot of space with an attempt at a card style interface but the end result is 50 of the screen space is wasted and a lot of scrolling is required for hildings and transaction history realtime price updates would be nice             Daniel Hodgin

on the main screen the stock shows it has chaned but when you click on the stock the actual results are different in addition i have experienced the mobile app as well as the cibc investors edge website to be down at least 2 3 times per month which is frustrating when i call in to cibc they claim they know nothing about the issue and thank you for reporting the problem in the new year i will be looking for new broker services         Tom Liniarski

This app while functional is very basic and UI is well behind many other rival services The main reason for the 1 star is the amount of battery drain the app causes Over a week of having it installed the battery drain was constantly 30 and this was with very limited usage     Reg Sangha
