The XClinometer (+bubble-level) is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new XClinometer (+bubble-level) app version 2.1 has been updated on 2014-11-25. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Having made the switch from Apple to Android I have been searching downloading and trialling various level angle apps similar to the pre installed Compass Level app on Apple This one is by far the closest and does exactly what you need without there being loads of other options and features like on the many other apps                     Damian Hill

Beautiful design giving the user as if dealing witha professional clinometer the reality is It is NOT It gives a bit of an indication of the angle level etc But on the end of the day it all depends on the accuracy of the sensor in your phone tablet I use a very professional GETAC Z710 tablet for industrial use Yet even that was 3 degrees off in all measurements in comparison with my factory calibrated clinometer Off course there is a calibration function somewhere but that is just a band aid to be repeated in every new situation But again Hats off for the very very well executed design A real winner if the tablet sensors were as good             Theo Maksor

Unusable after in App Purchase Was a 5 star app which I have used for years I recently made an in app purchase of the Camera Relative Angle Package to support the developer despite not really needing the additional features A big mistake the centre of the screen is now blocked by a dark overlay whenever I try to use the app Developer has not responded to my email seeking assistance No way to revert to the free working version     A Google user

says for an older version my zte axon mini isnt supported to latest flavor yet should work app did nothong not in english but upon hitting hyrogliphs it does unrelated things not for zte it seems     A Google user

I used Clinometer on iOS and it was an excellent app well designed intuitive and perfectly accurate On Android it is just as good I m pleased to say Definitely worth adding to your arsenal of utilities                     A Google user

Great app does 2 step calibration One issue I m having is that for vertical and horizontal calibration it says Wrong Face when I try and do the second step after turning 180 degrees Works great in bubble level mode though                 Bill Wood

I had to tighten some suspension bolts with the suspension on the ground I couldn t reach a couple bolts with the wheels on so I took an angle measurement with this app of the angle the control arm was at while loaded jacked and jack standed the car and then jacked up each particular wheel until I reached the same angle I had had taken with this app Far better than guessing or eyeballing it 5 stars for this project alone                     Got me out of a bind Chris S.

Liked this ap problem started when I was relying up on it and taking it in and out if my pocket as needed Somehow the display came out of my pocket red and it was way out of cal with no handy idea on how to set it back to side of phone is zeto Had to Uninstaller it and reload it Got out of calling again and went to by eye Have to see if I can find out what went wrong now the job is done for this year             A Google user

I needed the camera and relative angle features so purchased them Only trouble is as of this writing they do not show up I was charged the 1 50 Am awaiting reply from them but my experience with shadow producers is bad         Stephen Powdexter

Two point calibration meaning known level surface not required to calibrate the level The only level tool I have found on Android to have this feature At first I found the graphics a bit fussy but it s actually a really well thought out interface I love the guide arrow on the bubble level My only gripe is that the clinometer goes from 0 90 degrees rather than 0 360 or values so the only way to see the direction of error from vertical or horizontal is to use the analog display the digital readout shows the same number regardless of the direction of the error                     Cinci Nevinses

This slope guage angle guage is the smoothest running slickest looking app in this category of tools utilities Very impressive I m not able to compare measurements against something mechanical and high end Will try to do a comparison but still this is an amazing app                     C. Great app but I have a question When I measure my bicycle fork angle if I put the phone under the fork stanchion I get one measure 67 and if I put the phone over the fork stanchion I get a different one 66 What is the correct way to measure the angles using my phone                 Paris Galanis

Infact i am thrilled with the usage of this app on my nokia 5 i am currently on a power plant project My team and i was assigned to find pitch angle of air cooling tower fans but was unfortunate we didnt have the right instrument pressure was in us to do a rough alignment of the cooling tower fans So there and behold i decided to come on play store to find an app that get me near to execute my task after several apps i stumbled upon this app and it doing the job just fine I recommend it greatly cos am still using it for my rough alignment to check pitch angle of fan blade since the company hasnt bring to me the correct tool yet I bet the differece between the correct instrumwnt and this app will only be 1 degree or point 5 degree                 Edward Plange
