Superb An excellent port onto Android Google removed the app when they updated certain rules Beamdog continued to support this game and got it back into the Play store They never gave up even when they were being started on constantly on their own forums by a small number of people A great game and worth the wait to get this back on my device                     Keith Pirrie

great game but there are some glitches that need to be fixed For some reason the screen goes black permanently after resting forcing me to reload And my it wont let me talk to my companions Other than that great game             Dubs Guy

the map view when in areas appears to cause the game to minimize on my phone If I then attempt to maximize the game again the game resets itself back to the starting screen which results in lost game progression Can someone attempt to resolve this bug if possible             Checkmate Mate

fix the download Tried dozens of times to download and get from 5 to 96 complete before it tells me unable to download There s no reason it needs to be soo large Look at how Bard s Tale did it Smaller download and then patch it for missing files Soo sick trying it over and over     Chris Mack

the games fun and all but the fact they didn t fix a lot of the bugs really bums me out man nothing more fun than sinking 30 hours into a socerer to have the summon bug show up in act 5 just the whole fact that bg tweaks exist and stuff great game you should really buy it for pc though EDIT thanks for the response guys i figured out that some of my summons were imprisoned got a couple of freedom scrolls and it s working normal again                     Mike F

Used to love this old classic so decided it might be fun to get the phone version Only it s not really a version at least thus far really All controls and graphics look just shrunk from what they used to be on pc No adaptation to mobile at all It s awkward it s hard to see anything stuff looks tiny and gameplay is fiddly and cumbersome And that s on a Razer a gaming phone with a large screen     Petr Gilar

Really enjoying reliving this on Android and very appreciative of the effort in porting it The enchanted edition unfortunately looks a bit blurry on my phone which is 1080 res and the buttons can be a bit finicky Strangely worse than the BG1 port The map screen will also crash the app if it is a large area such as the bridge district which is super annoying But none of these issues are enough to kill my enjoyment of this classic                 Dave Dunnett

Having never played any of the Baldur s Gate games as my CPU was too slow in the 90s I m simply amazed by the overall experience of playing this on a 6 screen with a stylus pen on my Sony Gameplay is action packed yes it really is for anyone concerned as I was and having a strategic plan is a must to complete quests I feel like I stole this game for 1 99 also bought Torment Definitely worth the 9 99 price tag as this game has a quality that 99 9 games on the app store do not have                     TwoBob Lee

It refuses to download off cellular data for the in game update which leaves me stuck unable to play it because I have no access to WiFi Even though I already downloaded it and have been playing it for a while Cannot seem to manually update from Google Play but when I open it it requires an update Google Play doesn t have access to grant                     Alissa Johnson

I used to love baldur s gate on ps2 years ago but unfortunately this doesn t feel the same The controlls are awkward and there is no tutorial the whole game feels like a 50 inch screen scaled down to a phone the text is tiny and everything you need to click on is tiny They is no way point the whole experience is just confusing I just walk about aimlessly not knowing what to do or where to go I definitely think they should have put a full tutorial and explained the game better at the start             Samurai

Played this game back in the day on a 800mhz P3 and my Samsung Galaxy 8 puts it to shame Really playable on the smaller screen and hardly any issues in the grand scheme of things Bought it for 11 and worth 5 times that easily Great game amazing replayability and endless paths through the game to suit your style                     Kurt Murrell

Loved this game on PC n now I can play on my HTC tablet n plays just as good as it did back then n kinda odd not using a mouse at 1st but you get used to the new touchscreen controls the update on graphics are purely cosmetic but still nice touch This games got easily 60 hours of gameplay n has great voice acting n gameplay is pretty good I can t wait till they port never winter nights to Android with the expansion packs over 100 of gameplay n an even better game in my opinion but yea this games just as good n a classic to play                     Thomas Tissington

It is a great game i have always like all the baldurs gate games on pc but the only problem i have is on the samsung galaxy nexus The navigation bar covers the character selection side of the screen and it cannot be removed in any way if this can be fixed that would be great If not i wasted money on it just to not be able to play it would be depressing                     jeremy cutlip

Really great work guys Keep it up The difficulty with the first one in trying to access chests is sorted so it works fine on my phone now This game is an absolute rpg legend The Only downside to it is that it starts off too difficult for my liking but remember guys that on this easy is normal normal is hard and hard is insane difficulty But after the start it gets much easier again and you can explore enjoy                     Jacob Crowthorne

As a veteran of infinity engine games I appreciate what beamdog has done here although game needs improving Mouse support should be better implemented Right click does nothing The cursor does not change with actions like the pc version Also it randomly jumps on the map please support mouse play It is essential to enjoy these games to their fullest             Andrei Aldea

What the heck happened to this game It played beautifully before now I can t even get it to download I download it and it gets stuck installing I played it for months on the same phone a few months ago I uninstalled it to make room for KOTOR I wanted to replay guess not Edit it s working again I don t like some of the changes why change it at all it played beautifully before still a masterpiece                 Victory Lane

Since it was originally made for PC and no mouse for my phone some things just are inherently lacking namely the option of hovering over things in game to see their name status Also smaller things can be very difficult to select with your finger this review might just be me realizing I should get a tablet                 Craig Graham

The makers of this game have zero idea on the core rules of 2nd ed ADu0026D I ve played ADu0026D since I was a kid They are giving stats to monsters that do not exist A great wyrm red dragon has a 11 AC and 200ish health as per the core rules in the monster manual yet my 20th lvl fighter with a 13 thaco should hit on a 2 on a d20 so anything but a 1 misses 2 3 the time A dragon must cast as per a caster which means a spell can be interupted not in their game makes no sense that they feel they must give improper stats and ruin a once great game made by bioware in 99 This is just one instance where they over inflated stats and lost the true heart of the game         Thomas Betts
