Sadly this is just a wrapper for the mobile version of the website with OS integrations notifications etc It comes with all the drawbacks of hybrid apps bloat awkward UI choppy performance etc I m a subscriber and GP is a great newspaper but it really deserves a true native app Christopher Svanefalk

I do like to get local news and as for now this is the best application for that for me I do however not think that it s that important for me to get a sound notification every time there s a new article for me to read though As a matter of fact since I m not able to specifically disable the sound notification and only allow the visible notification I m not that far from uninstalling the application which would be a shame since it can be good to know if there s a riot or not in the areas I walk about A Google user

Too slow pop up ads and each article is too slow to load The ads load last as you switch pages which means you try to click on an article but lo and behold the ad just loaded so now you ve just clicked on an advertisement you have absolutely no interest in Slowest app I have Johanna Anttila
