The Hole19 - Golf GPS & Scorecard is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Hole19 - Golf GPS & Scorecard app version 1.0 has been updated on 2015-01-28. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Just installed it for the first time on the recommendation of my opponent yesterday Used it for the first time today and v impressed Easy to setup and use Functionality very simple not all fingers and thumbs like other mobile gold apps                 Steve McLafferty

Updated Review Glitch is resolved and app is working great again I have however played 3 separate courses now that were not updated with new hole locations or the satellite imagery is terrible Not sure if other apps have the same problem Issue here is there is no way to report it In calgary both the mccall lake course and hamptons golf club have inaccurate holes                 Nate Powell

Used this on my Fossil Gen 5 yesterday on a short par 3 9 hole course pretty accurate yardage however I don t think it will last a full 18 holes on a large course as it seems to drain the battery 1 30 mins of play and it went from approx 95 battery to 15             CTech

As a frequent golfer this app is the best It does everything you need You can track your stats all throughout the year while knowing the exact yardage during each round The smartwatch app for it is great also                     Thomas Verret

Used to be a fantastic app Somewhat recently they completely blacked out holes for free users which is not only annoying but usually screws up my scoring on holes too Do this fact I will be deleting the app There are far too many other alternatives that you don t have to deal with such an annoying functions of in order for the company to make a buck     Nicholas Jenson

Started out great then the next few hole are not able to log in as the previous holes was not able to complete The logging of the shots is also slow not sure whether is it due to 4G data or the app itself Also the app also does not allowed editing of the scores after the game I like that the fact the app is free and the logging in of the ball position every hit is great for analyzing Would give it a full 5 stars if the dev can fix these issues             Jonathan Chan

watch app always needs to be reloaded also have to restart new round to complete the back nine on a nine hole course we should be able to set up score card and have a WIDGET for watch Always losing connection because gets left in golf cart Garmin has their own widget and watch keeps track of everything We just need a better golf app for this OS for the watches     TIM VALDEZ

Phone app is excellent Good gps mapping of courses and excellent scoring mechanism Also love the dashboard so Ican see driving accuracy and putting into I have tried it on my Samsung frontier watch and whilst the capabilities is as good it is really frustrating to use After each shot the display disappears and the watch face defaults You then neg to go and scroll to find the app and restart it to get the next bit of info Unusable World go to 5 stars if this was resolved             Chris O'Brien

A great app that has now been made extremely annoying to use because of ads mid round If you are going to add advertising which is fine make sure they work seamless in the app It is now incredibly buggy when cycling through holes with the same hole repeating or the wrong hole being selected This is a shame because this is the best golfing app on the market Please improve the in round adds which are otherwise spoiling a great app             chris read

Really good app but with one major gripe It kept defaulting back to hole 1 when trying to enter the score on completing a hole And you can t then jump to the hole you are on rather have to swipe through A minor annoyance but hopefully fixed in a future release It was fast to find me and get to use though so far happy with it and hoping for improvements in the UI in future                 Oli Clark

Easy to use app if you keep your phone in your pocket whilst you play I have used the android wear app alongside the app which does work but its a little finicky to it up It would be nice to be able to set my round up and send it to my watch and then track it that way as opposed to setting up a round on the watch itself Overall easy to use and not bloated with to many apps Will pay for a subscription once I it works better with my watch                 Luke Jefferson

Great app been using it for about a year properly and with a Smart watch since about Xmas One issue that plagues me currently my Huawei Watch 2 no longer updates with my distance It just shows me the length of the hole Front middle and back of the green from the tee and doesnt update with the distance to measure my shot The whole point of having it on my watch Also weirdly when scoring on the watch you tap up to give say 4 shots but then the watch knocks it down to 3 like its catching up with your taps Ive since gone back to just using my phone which doesnt look great on the course             russell jacques

Free version works quite well and I have no issues syncing to my Wear OS watch What I do wish for was a paid version that wasn t subscription based I only play about 1 2 times a month so the subscriptions are simply too pricey for such infrequent use A 1 fee for 12 hour access to premium would have me purchasing it for most rounds I play                 webster miller

A lot about the app is good Very accurate and great information If it worked a great app However much like many reviewers here you have to keep your phone unlocked and app on screen on phone to get it to work on watch Which pretty much makes the watch app useless A shame as I flagged this over a year ago and still has not been corrected Will probably uninstall and look for a more reliable app if it doesn t work again in next few rounds         Shane McGillycuddy

Really wanted this to work well but the app for galaxy watch is not up to par The app as standalone on smartphone s10 is good but as the connection with the calaxy watch was poor the whole experience was frustrating Watch app kept freezing loosing connection random when input was possible Please give some developer love to the galaxy watch app         Johan Chun

Good app I have only used the free download version It will show you distances to the centre of the green and sometimes measuring distances to water or ditches the course pictures are sometimes not that clear But for a free app for a golfer of my standard it s the best I have used The battery usage for a round of golf is not excessive I have found every course I have played in the UK in the course library                 Peter Cartwright

app is nice when it works i like the features and the user interface but i have two major issues 1 often i cant find the course im playing and 2 i get an error in the app when searching for courses and the error gives me no idea whats wrong so i cant really use it often             Scott Bleier

Ever since they added the ads in between holes advanced mode has been so glitchy its unusable If the add shot button does show sometimes it will just flash and not add the shot Also all the standard tee boxes are way off for at least 4 different courses     John Lawrence

Good overall Couldn t use at Valley Oaks in Visalia CA because there are 27 holes and the app had no method to start on the Oaks or the Lakes It would only start on the Valley 9 which I wasn t playing                 Jim Hanson

The app appears to know where the tee and the pin are located The problem is it puts the tee location way off when i bring up deveral of the holes         Jesse Anderson
