Just got uconnect live activated on my brand new jeep compass after not being done at factory Have to say they were quick to sort the problem and very helpfull That said the app is terrible it doesn t auto connect when bluetooth is switched on and app locks if the engine is on so cannit use it anyway It never gives me any info about my car levels etc most of the time it asks for an update over my phone data connection but never installs Not a great app I m afraid     P Wathes

This app keeps popping up and asking you to sign in while you are doing 70 trying to follow Google maps Even if you stop the app it Still pops back up If you sign in it pops up showing the home screen Basically this app will continually show over the top of Google maps making it a real menace while driving     Phil Probets

Clunky poor app the web version isn t any better How long does it take to update from the car New 19 Renegade with 8 4 screen fitted The app doesn t match the car mileage or trips The my car section hasn t registered new miles or fuel etc for 2 days and a few trips update refresh button does nothing The eco drive section updates but is awful and clunky and pesters me to swipe along the bottom to see acceleration etc Jeep skills has updated but again the app is messy and not very intuitive Facebook is missing too On the plus side I have seen how the car was driven by the car dealership before I collected it         David Bithell

The Live Status information you actually receive in the app isn t the same as the live status in the pictures I have a 500L same model as the one in the picture but I don t get fuel or battery percentages or any external temperature app is absolutely bug ridden EDIT Forgot to mention that the app locks your entire screen when you connect to your cars bluetooth developers need to remove this NOW as it s highly dangerous to drivers who use their phone to navigate     John Docherty

Hello I ve just purchased a 2016 jeep renegade with Uconnect 5 8 4 and the 5 radio with dab without the sat nav and the car is still linked to the previous owners account is their anyway to factory reset the app within the car the restore app within the cars settings doesn t work kind regards Michael     michael greensmith

uconnect doesn t have any records of my previous login but they have my car registered to another user that s hilarious because that i other user is me what a great service as with everything Alfa Romeo it looks great but works bad     Mr. Mike

Apparently it was not me After being in the condition for months to not using my 4G after the previous update now with the latest I can use the 4G again So there was a problem I hope in the future the application will stay stable and no regressions will be experienced again Regards     Mauro Baudino

Registering is mandatory but the mail to confirm my address took hours so I couldn t log in The following day I logged in just to find out that the app says the car I rented is not supported by the app weird as it definitely is since I got to the Uconnect LIVE screen on the car display In any case it started itself every time I connected via Bluetooth to the car though it s not supported so it does work Just ridiculous Why not just support Android Car Do not buy FIAT     Gabriele Marrone

New jeep compass in June last year whole unit had to be replaced as was not working at all correctly New 8 4 uconnect seems to work fine but the speed cameras do not work I check the app and it states I have all live services including speed cameras until December 2020 Fed up with it now and debating taking it up with trading standards as it is not as stated when I bought my Jeep sick of being miss sold in this day and age     Darren Romanus

You install the app and then it requires a login No way to create the account error 9000 You try three different emails and three different identity providers still same result No info online on error 9000 You try the desktop site but the overlay they are using does not allow you to see the whole site on a mobile device Useless without evenbtalking about the permissions required     Dan Gioga

Unfulfilled promise Functionalities are good but app locks itself even when the motor is off Then when you turn everything off it won t update the status of your car So first the autolock app feature when the engine is on is simply silly Second you need to work on how to update the info about your car in real time         Andre Rypl

I suppose if this was a 2000 then the system would be adequate Given we are in 2019 and the Giullietta had a big update in 2017 what can be achieved with this app and the 6 5 system is simply lamentable My maps are 5 years out of date but Alfa Romeo in Milan think this is somehow OK You have made a mistake buying an Alfa with the U Connect 6 4 system Do not waste any precious time by downloading this app It seems to use a lot of resource for zero benefit     Rodger JOHN

App connects automatically to my Giulietta Alfa Performance is great to check oil temp battery status current G force torque horse power turbo boost more Efficient Drive is ok u0026 does work however when loading it s delayed and says dowloading pictures of cars MyCar works well I can check fuel level u0026 distance to empty battery level car mileage how many days mileage to my next service it will worn me if my tyre pressure is low Find my car works and all data sync s with my phone                     Daniel Kershaw

Always been hit and miss But recently it s impossible to get it to connect to my car This affects music playback map services trip computer information It s absolutely rubbish and one of many things I m hating about my 500X and FIAT as a company And now it s draining my phone battery too I keep getting warnings about it asking me whether I want to put the app to sleep No I don t as I want it to work with my car so I can use the painfully slow car Deezer app etc but I don t want a flat battery by mid afternoon either     Gary L

great when it works but it won t hold the 4g and keeps disconnecting look at the dev replies all they ask for is the vin no which will make no difference to this they just need to improve the app     dean parkes

This has been a buggy app since I began using it 3 years ago however the last two android updates have introduced a fatal bug that causes the data stream from the Android app to the Uconnect system in the car to terminate after 2 4 minutes and terminates streaming from TuneIn and presumably other services until the Android app on the phone is restarted When the error occurs the error message on the car Uconnect system first states This Stream is Unavailable and after trying to restart the stream from the Uconnect radio app the system returns the message The Service is temporarily unavailable This bug is apparent in versions 2 1 1 and 2 1 2 of the app I have downgraded to 2 1 0 and do not see this problem with this version of the android app The rating of one star is because of the lack of response from the developer addressing this problem in spite of the messages on google play and my having described the problem to the developer through Twitter To the developer Please let the community know what is being done to correct the problem Responding with the same reply to all these complaints isn t helpful Your email address doesn t work     Kenneth
