works great however chrome and opera wont let me select the Droid cam 1 and 2 variant of webcams driodcam 3 is just an orange screen 1 and 2 seem to work great on the apps that let me select it                 TitanTubs

i dont understand the salespitch to buy pro version the free version runs 720p and the pro gives you 720p to quote yourself High res video support up to 720p in HD Mode my cam is 4k yet these options are so limited                 Lars b

I use the app for streaming on Twitch and it works perfectly fine It would be 5 stars if they added more features like auto adjust from the Pc Also I notice a lot of people have connectivity issues USB theathering is slightly better because it hardwire Would recommend to do that if you can                 Ivan Carreto

Lots of people giving low ratings while missing the point It will of course have some lag phones aren t designed to be straight up webcams It serves its purpose and it serves it well The one minor complaint I have is the ad system to get HD video doesn t work it s a Facebook ad that is not a video and does not ever end on its own without closing it which of course denies the HD Was looking for a good alternative to my webcam for streaming but this will not be it due to lag Still a great concept though maybe as a secondary camera for another purpose                     michael garrity

Legit decided at 8 50 that I wanted to lookup and install Droidcam I hadn t used it in years At 8 55 I was streaming wirelessly with very little lag that was about on par with what would be expected from a webcam I haven t tested this with one of my high end phones yet the one I installed it on is actually a fairly inexpensive slower one made for used for travel but it s slow processor has no problem keeping up Reading other reviews however I realize that following the directions to set this up or managing any network issues your network might cause when using this is beyond some people So to counter the you can t fix stupid reviews this has been my experience so far                 Steve Steiner

Was using to record video to pc experienced frequent issues getting anything to display and when i did get video coming through it would lag a lot and by an incconsistent amount as well     Matthew Washer

Have not used it for streaming but so far the play back it s very stable I don t get why the other reviews are so low Yes connecting using wifi is super laggy but that is because it s over wifi With traditional webcams you have to connect it using a connector So I connected it using usb you have to turn on developer options for this and turn on usb debugging on your phone it was much much smoother and not as laggy as it was in wifi mode it s great for starter streamers in my opinion                     Gabrielle Eusebio

just trying it so far bad lag problems with USB that might be my cable though and it insists on installing insurance apps if I want HD maybe I m shortchanging this app But what I hoped it would do and what it seems to actually do are not similar enough for me to be happy about it     Andrew Fournier
