Bag limits and possession limits are very accurate but some information is not entirely accurate Very good app to have on the water or in remote areas as it does not require WiFi to use For example brown trout are NOT 4 5 stars eating I recommend adding a map for each species and where to catch them starting with the most popular species first and then working your way down Also a tab or button where every rig is listed would be much appreciated But other than that very very handy app Almost accurate David Lello

Wish I had this when I started fishing in the 50s The fact that it down loads totaly means I can check fish in remote areas Its always interesting to see how the fish names vary from one area to another and for someone like me who fishes up and down the east coast of Aus I wouldnt be without it Thanks fellas What a great little app this is

Caught a salmon the other day in Brissy and no reference Great app otherwise but please ad salmon types for sea in Qld Salmon
Yesterday caught a big jewfish first time in my life so checked My Fishing Mate that tells jewfish has no limit in size and 20 is bag limit so kept in my bag to bring to home BUT it was wrong In mulloway section size is 70cm and bag limit is 2 mulloway and jewfush us same fish though My fish was 65cm so I took undersized jewfish thanks to this app Great app but a bug

But if the app creater wants my opinions to improve here they are from the first 15 minutes usage 1 search for murray cod no result but cod murray would 2 little slow to display information when selecting a fish feeling like I have to hold a breath 3 down arrow for other names was on top of the fish didnt spot that untill later and not consistency Good
A great app will be a big help as identifing fish has always been a problem for me Good to having tips as well Very handy

I cant count the number of times I had to pull out this nifty app just to identify the fish I caught Id rate this 6 stars if i canNow if you could only add image recognition in here so that we just have to take a photo of the catch and it will look it up by itself then this would be James bond s fishing app Just a suggestion Very helpful indeed
