Used to be good until you have that alerting area and whole purpose of the monitoring radius was for that Dont need a preset past the monitered radius just is way to annoying i have mine set for like 15 miles but the alerting area extends to like 30 or 40 please revert back to the radius and get rid of the extra milage that i need not worry about OR at least make it a option         Robert Rothlisberger

They should make it so we can move marker to actual location Bc when i put in my zipcode it sets marker 10 miles from my house and if i set it to current location i get alerts that are 45 min from my house     Ash Wells

boy what an amazing app it alerts me each and every time it also allowed me to add my son in Alabama and I m in Wisconsin and let them know to as well as me that they might be in trouble if I m sleeping the actual alarm sound is that of a tornado warning sound and it s very loud and yes it will wake you up from a sound sleep really must try it it will save a lot of lives                     Glen Westphal

I had my volume off which to the best of my understanding is why the warning did not sound the alarm That does not work for me because I like to put things on silent when I go to bed I only want the tornado alarm to override that Also I got a visual tornado warning statement from this app but there was no tornado warning issued in my area There was only a tornado watch     Morgan Field

This is a great app The alert for the tornado warning came on today even a few seconds before the sirens and sent us right into our shelter It also gives you a brief list of the main things you need to remember in the situation I installed this because I am afraid the city emergency sirens are not loud enough to wake me up at night the app s tornado alert however is loud enough to wake up anyone I would think There is a different alert sound for tornado watch T storm warning those would be just your regular notification sound You can also see if relatives or friends you connect with on the app are okay The app runs humbly in the background until it is time to make its appearance Thanks Red Cross                     Stefanie Ebisch da Cunha

Alert system is not robust enough A tornado went through the next town over in the middle of the night and I only got a push notification The alarms on a tornado app need to be able to override the sound settings and be able to wake people up In other words this app completely failed at the ome thing I really needed it to do and I could have DIED from it     Mike Lieder

The app is great for alerts and warnings as the weather is occurring but you cannot delete old alerts the alerts continue to pop up for several days after the event and you get alerts after the event has passed the warning area and is continuing to head away The aggravation factor is pretty high             Leon Pace

Always accurate Can monitor multiple locations Have had this app for several years now and grabs your attention much more than ordinary weather apps when you need it to I monitor a large area in the Texas Panhandle so I can alert drivers to quickly changing conditions You never know when a driver isn t able to receive data but he might be able to get a text or phone call                     Angel Grider-Sturgill

Still on the fence about this app I just finally figured out how to set this to ignore do not disturb considering tornado sirens are inaudible in my bedroom and that s why I downloaded this app and it woke me up at 5am for a tornado warning in my county One which no other app website or my weather radio says anything about and now even when I check THIS app the most recent listed alert was from 5 28 a month ago What the hell         Niko Callahan

I downloaded this app so I could be woken up if a tornado warning was issued for my area but it has not once given me a notification I ve checked my app and phone notification settings dozens of times and everything is set to issue an alert with sound if there is a tornado watch or warning but I never even get a pop up The tornado sirens went off four times yesterday and I am again currently under a tornado watch but I can only find that information out by actually opening the app     Mary K Jacobi

I just uninstalled it It does not properly track my location I just received a warning for a location hundreds of miles away where I was 4 days ago I have the track my location setting enabled but it doesn t work USLESS         David Pancoast

This app has a very loud siren that alerts you to severe weather I am generally a very deep sleeper and this app is loud enough to wake me I feel a little more at ease during severe storms knowing I have this app                     Heather Hood

I can monitor for severe weather at my elderly parents home and warn them of an approaching storm They live in Tornado Alley but have no computer or Internet service I really love this app and appreciate the alerts it gives                     coashddjj2
