Have been using this app for a few years now but recently after I ve switched to another phone Huawei P30 Pro I have noticed that I cannot use the MSL altitude correction anymore as it shows n a value in the altitude field All the passive and network locations are turned off and only GPS is used I ve read the FAQ but it does not help Any hint about what to do to make the correction possible                 Marius Pacurariu

Basic but does what it s designed for without ads or other clutter A nice replacement for GeoTracker which started crashing since a recent update Despite the warning in the settings keeping GPS enabled does not cause dramatic battery drain with a recording interval of 3 seconds Splitting the file into multiple tracks according to when the start stop button was pressed would be nice                 Alexander Thomas

Works really well interface is easy to understand and organized The kml imported into google earth perfectly but I could not import the kml into google maps as a layer received error The file contains invalid or unsupported data or the file is too large to parse File was not large about 9kb I tried to open the map from google earth in google maps but that didn t work I could import the gpx file into google maps bit that shows up as a track and not a polygon as kml would Would give it 5 stars if kml imported into google maps                 Mark Wooldridge

Does one job and does it very well I turned off network location GPS only 60 second intervals 5 meter sensitivity no motion filtering and auto upload to Google Drive I get home from shooting pictures and I can download the GPX file for the day and tag my pictures Leaving it on 24 7 uses at most 5 of my battery life People having trouble may also want to turn off battery optimizer for this app as it could limit it s ability to operate in the background                     Eric Warnke

Wow Exectly the app I was searching for as an alternative for Google s location history Now I even have much more logging options and export capabilities It s also the only app that can log the locations obtained by other apps Just great Please keep up with this nice little gem                     Marcus Herrmann

Basic functions work ok but several problems The GPS Track shown in Lightroom mapping window is different than my walking path It s as if the times got jumbled in the gpx file and instead of showing path A B C D the tracking shows B A D C Also there is no easy way to delete a gpx file once uploaded And apparently no easy way to navigate file tree to specify an alternate gpx file storage location             Jim Furlong

This is a great lightweight GPS logger app I use it mostly for bike rides I noticed I was getting kind of a jumpy track but I turned off Log network locations and now my tracks are very smooth Nice work Mendhak                     Aaron Tusko

Works exceptionally well in my opinion It can continuously append GPS coordinate data in CSV GPX or KML formats to files with filenames following YYYY MM DD format Also the CSV file has dates and times in ISO 8601 format which is a huge plus for me Battery drain at 60 second update intervals doesn t seem noticeably worse than what Google Location Services already uses                     Steven Sandoval

It only seems to work when it is set to keep GPS permanently on If set to control GPS it can be seen to switch on and off at the set interval but it is not recorded Presumably it does not wait long enough for a good result Otherwise very good             A Google user

I like the minimalistic approach though the settings are comprehensive and the app is responsive but unfortunately it drop it s tracking interval to 5 minutes after a few fixes ignoring the configured setting This unfortunately renders the app useless for me             Sven F.

I use this app to geo tag photos from my DSLR It can log locations inside buildings where there is no GPS signal because it can use GPS and Network location providers at the same time                     Alexander Lam
