Playback of recorded videos is problematic Live feed is good better than My Dlink lite and it is quicker I also noticed that the live feed is darker in the DVR than with direct connect through MyDlink lite Issue with playback is not reproducible when playing from a PC connected to DVR through same wireless connection DVR is connected to a brand new netgear nighthawk and stil i have the same playback issues on this app It is possible to playback videos by going to the screen where you select time and day then view the video It will often glitch out like not play fully If you want to watch another recorded clip you need to double click the video screen and return to all four cameras then start over by selecting the cam you want to view a recording for If you attempt to just switch from one recorded video to the next by using the date picker within a recorded video clip it wont load the newly selected video S9 galaxy connected to same network or wireless provider makes no difference             J Math

Needs update for Android 9 Edit When I upgraded to Android 9 I opened the app and it stated that the Android version was not supported I just opened it again almost a month later and it seems to be working fine even though there has been no update             A Google user

I initially gave this app one star because I saw nothing but a gray screen when turning it on Noticed others gave same review with same problem I now realize it is a supporting app for the regular dlink this app does not actually do anything on its own it simply adds ability to the mydlink app and then it works great This should be spelled out better in the description of the app                     L S

I have to agree with most people here This software is useless if you need this as your main way to see what your cameras record I like the cameras they are easy to use and setup but this software makes the recorder useless to me I own a ring video doorbell and that is a pleasure to use compared with this This software needs easier ability to view recorded events It also needs the ability to download a video that is recorded directly onto my phone It also doesn t run in Android 10     Raven Symonette

Tried to use this Compared to my father s iPod It appears there is something fundamentally wrong with the Android version My nvr doesn t show up on the Android Shows up on the apple device Confirmed with pixel XL Samsung j3 Didn t work with either Also although I appreciate that linksys responded to this review almost immediately I ve noticed there are over a year worth of complaints that seem to experience the exact same problem I am having Which gives me the feel that the replies here are more lip service with no actual solution to be found I ll be sure to update this review if that changes in the future That said at this time I cannot recommend the dlink nvr if your intent is to use it with android     David C
