I use this app for almost all my banking needs.

I ve been using BoA app from just about its launch date I love it it is easy for the most part to use The things that I don t like which probably means I don t like what BoA proper has changed is that we have to go through a program to transfer money to people I would just prefer to have their banks connected to mine because a lot of people I know don t have one of the listed banks that will allow it Erica works really well and I like that it is easy to contact an operator Victoria H
As a new credit card owner this app is helpful The introductory offer zero interest for over a year is helping me with other accounts that the interest is too high Transferring to this new card at zero transfer fees for a short time helps also Hopefully in the new year I ll be able to reduce debts some and give me time to research a good loan deal to permanently eliminate all my debt at a good rate Michael Jones

I love my Bank of America banking app I love the budgeting tools available and it s so user friendly It s my banking literally at my fingertips and I absolutely love it I can check my balance at the grocery store or at the gym It s never slow nor do I have login issues like I ve experienced with other apps A Google user
Not sure if its a recent update but after I place in the MFA code it takes me right back to the same send text screen again I have reinstalled the app bit same results I am using an android The problem happens during login The app sometimes recognizes the text MFA response and enters it in automatically or other times i enter it in but either way the app reverts back to the initial send text screen Brian Foran
Great app but I learned the hard way you still should log on to your computer to check your balances as the app isn t always current So if you re getting low or close to a 0 balance track your spending by logging into a computer I like that my husband helped our son open his account at the bank u0026 he has access to his account Great feature Rosa Elvira
The BOA app has improved greatly since I first started using their online banking app many years ago The annoying Erica thing aside there is a lot to like in the current version Like anything improvement can still be made for example you can t make an itemized mortgage payment using the app and adding new Bill Pay recipients isn t as easy as it could be but I m sure the folks at BOA are working to close those gaps too Update This app is MUCH better now thank you BOA Tom M
The last update was really good This app is a lot better then it was one tiny thing when you touch amount and it brings up the amount screen please make it automatically bring up the keyboard and select the number input blank so you don t have to actually touch the blank to activate the keyboard It s just an extra button push but if you re doing 40 text it s annoying John Casey
Update 9 128 2019 problem appears to have been solved will update rating If it stays fixed for a week Thanks Update 9 15 3019 Still have to try 2 to 3 times before login works I am using fingerprint authenticaton so no mistyped passwords just get error message unable to login please try later it fails on part where it reads text message with 2nd authentication code again app reads the text message and autofills the code for me performance In a browser it works every time casirothman
I like the app as far as having my banking at my fingertips however the ad for a new service that I have to exit out of everytime is not user friendly I get you are a business so have the service pop up 3 times and after I close out of the ad 3 times have it stop I clearly see that the service is available and will know if I need want it in the future where to go to get it I should not have to close off of it everytime before i can proceed to my account Gennifer Harvey
Signing into this app to bank is very inconvenient This issue has been present for various releases on this app What is the issue With the right password entered the app always tells me that it can t logging blah blah Nevertheless if I persist on pressing the sign in button the sign in becomes successful Why is this happening Why don t you guys fix this long standing issue No other banking app give me this kind of trouble The app itself is giving me plenty of reasons to stop using BoA Juan R.
I love this app It s not perfect but what is The only issue I really have is the transfer request option when I want to make a payment on a BoA cc account When I make the transfer the funds are immediately taken from my cking account but do not show as a payment received on the account until the following day As these are all BofA accounts it should be more automatic than that If I am ever late I get dinged why not the bank Any kind of inhouse transfer should be seemless Karen Nichols
First and only time I used online bill pay BoA put a stop on my check and didn t pay my rent Called to have the stop removed and was told everything was okay I made it clear that it was very important that the check go through Stop was never removed and BoA employee I spoke with said I agreed to the stop on the payment Update Had to get a cashier s check for the bill BoA should have paid Had to cover the other banks bank fees too Receiving bank said check couldn t be deposited Thanks Don McEathron
Moves quickly and clearly When I received an alert via BofA email that my card had been used in a Sunday and I wasn t the one using it I was able to quickly lock my card via the app That was peace of mind On Monday I spoke with someone from BofA Someone in another state had tried 3 more times to use my card that Sunday but was not able to Now I have text alerts when my card is used feels good to be so aware if my account is being accessed Tina Schimke
It could be five Stars if I could set up auto pay to my credit card by percentage As well as not having my auto pay automatically cancelled every time I make my own little payment ahead of time There really should be an option for both of these My credit is fair It would be excellent if I only had those two options Part 2 my FICO score dropped several points again for the same reason riknck
I like that my balance is almost always in real time that reflects my recent transactions but I hate how they sort these transactions They don t sort them by day instead it s whether they re pending or processed It s hard to keep track and you easily get confused And pls for the love of god get 2 factor for this app A bank as big as Bofa should have that option for their customers I seriously value secuirty and my other bank has that option considering completely switching to them Maura Furtado
I used to love this app but now every time I try to make a mobile deposit when I take a picture of either the front or the back of the check the app logs me out so I have to start completely over I ve been trying this for the last few months same thing I have cleared my cache I have force stopped it I have uninstalled and reinstalled it same thing So until this one is fixed I am forced to do all my mobile business at my other bank which I don t want to do Meigel Martin
was a great app but lately it locks and says I must enter my SS number and routing number every three weeks It went from the best to the worse I contacted BOA and followed their instruction to reset my account one more time Once again I m locked out of my accounts They want me to change my password and send my Social security number again I m done My other banks don t do this to me John Hoernlein
I cant do anything with this app Everytime I try to deposit a check this pointless app shuts down and asks me to resign in Over and over again I uninstall and reinstall and it happens over and over again This same issue persists on both of my phones Beyond frustrating Rachel even if it s the only app running it still fails 90 of the time when trying to deposit checks In comparison my Wells Fargo and Citibank apps have zero issues with check deposits but BOA for now is my main bank Whitney Peach
I really like the ease of use of the Bank of America mobile app It is nice to be able to make transfers easily between accounts take photos of checks for deposits without having to go to a branch and explore Bank services at my leisure the app is easy to use the screens are bright and clean and the layout is well done five stars Nashville Tennessee

Payments made over the app seemed to get lost and was told it wasn t BofAs problem that I was missing thousands from my account even though they are the ones who debited it their solution to this review is call the same number that transferred your calls 6 separate times and left you terribly unsatisfied the last time James Morgan

I have been unable to access Bank of America on my android smart phone I take it back to the office I bought the phone at and can sign on once By the time I get home it no longer works Fortunately I still have an iPhone as well where the app still works Not sure if the problem is app or phone but this phone will have to go away It seems to be getting better since the latest Android update My iPhone 6 died so no more backup plan brian newton

Update there still isn t an requirement to input a code SMS or otherwise Only password needed It still doesn t have an option to link to your cellphone email and send a code to log in more security Also every time I try to see my credit card statement that isn t current the app keeps loading and then crashes Pretty annoying actually My email has the 2 way verification option and this is a banking app a banking app should have more security measures than email but it doesn t Genevieve Brammel

This is the most frustrating app that I have ever had to deal with I have the fingerprint feature set up so that I don t have to sign in with my password every time but this app keeps telling me that my fingerprint does not work Then after I sign in it tells me my fingerprint can be used the next time I sign in but it doesn t work all the time I have had to sign in more times than my fingerprint actually works What can be done about this I don t have this problem with other apps on my phone Sharlene Cervantes
I m able to track my activity on a regular basis and I have View All to see things that I might have forgotten about buying You can see your most recent payment just below the details of the balance and next payment due I am able to keep my calls to Customer Support to a minimum with the app Shawn Jenkins
