The Golf Canada Pro is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 0.6.60 has been released on 2014-06-3. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I have access but there s no hole by hole stat tracker only the post total score option They have one on the website but it s clunky If they added a mediocre stat tracker putts GIR missed fairway direction penalty I d use this app way more often The stroke calculator is a good idea and works well         Brayden Kagel

The app is decent the hole by hole entry is terrible though The selection slider shows the selected score off the left of the screen and it doesn t say anywhere which is selected The course handicap calculator why not select the course and fallback manual slope entry if not available Turning off the stats to get a full list of holes in one page would be awesome for those that don t track Selecting multiple friends and putting in full scores would be good Instead of entering one at a time             Kenneth Davidson

There is a problem with the app beginning this year I m not sure exactly when the update occurred However when you go to enter a HBH score the score slider is miss aligned You can never see the score you have selected It is off the screen to the left You just have to trust that you made the right selection It is really annoying The same problem occurs when you try to do a course handicap calucation This feature is un usable as you have no idea what slope is selected nor do you know what factor you have selected It was great up until sometime this season         Ken Mercier

The app is good except for that input of stats is all screwed up when posting a hbh score Fairway stats up and downs etc get all screwed up when posting through the app As a result I only post through the app when absolutely necessary If this bug got fixed asap would be 5 stars             Dan Rankin

Very poor UI Tried posting my score total score for 18 hole the app just kept loading as though uploading the score forever I had to use their browser interface to post the score I can t see my handicap in the app The history only displayed 1 score this hears All my previous scores are not there Like others mentioned the basic functions of posting a score and looking up your handicap don t work     Can t post score can t see my handicap only shows current year s history Remy Bernard

To all you whining ludites you can change to 9 hole or hole by hole scoring in the Settings But then you re probably also using a stock shaft in your driver have a bag full of hybrids and use brush tees Great app                     Derek Krahn

I have a Nexus 5X The system navigation buttons at the bottom of screen aren t there so I can t exit the app The handicap scores tab is gone so I can t see my best 10 of my last 20 scores Please fix this I m on a golf trip Thank you for fixing this                 Davida Obront

Do not listen to any of these people who don t even take the time to learn how to use the app before commenting on it You can customize the score to be a 9 or 18 hole total score You can set the default score entering to be hole by hole for stat recording You can set it to automatically switch to the next hole once you ve entered the score for that hole If you would have bothered to click on the 3 bars at the top right corner of the screen and check the settings like any other app in the world you would have found that out very quickly I have had this app for 5 years and never once had a problem with it It breaks down all my stats and percentages for par 3s 4s and 5s It kept my scoring history for the last 5 years and keeps my handicap up to date The reason it does not automatically calculate your handicap for you is because it depends on what tees your are playing and is based off the slope index of the course you are playing on so it could be 4 different handicaps for the same course I do agree that there could be a few changes made to better customize user experience so that s why I gave it 4 stars but it s a great app that obviously a lot of inexperienced people are trying to use and dragging down the ratings                 Ryan Boyd
