For those upset about Google Earth no longer being available it is likely due to Google no longer making Earth available as a standalone app The only way to run Earth at this time is as an extension to Google Chrome and only Chrome Can t run it on Firefox Opera Edge or any other browser It is a complete pain No idea why they would do something so stupid                 Lon Chaney

It is good for people who use the cardboard br headsets I know it is not meant for people who dont use it but I would still like to My headset does not have the button on the top right where I can click on the screen on my phone I would like to use the relax feature in artic mode and look at the fox u0026 birds But to click on a button i have to continually take my phone out and do it manually If the feature that allows me to hover over the button to select it that would be more convenient             B.B Eckerds

It doesn t really do anything You can get all the vr apps from the play store It doesn t access any app except Google Expeditions also available on the play store 360 videos is just a youtube link It may be convenient as a link app but since it won t transfer to the SD card it s not worth the space it takes up         Joseph De Vries

For those complaining about issues with the less expensive Samsung models such as J3 emerge as seen below v perhaps taking hardware into consideration before just buying anything off the shelf because its on sale Don t just buy it cause it s the most recent and economic version out on Amazon Compare phone specs and limitations Read reviews and compare It s not Google s fault you bought the bad apple of the J3 series Works great on my J3 Prime Even runs well on my Grand Prime                     evil ONE

Great intro to mobile VR I m disappointed that I couldn t use it with my phone due to a notch but that s more of the manufacturers fault than anything I would recommend downloading                 ErikLew

cant use with my freefly viewer I scanned the codes and this is the app it asked me to download but it won t work its asking me to click the tab flap button on the top right but it s not there because it s not a cardboard viewer but this is what it told me to download         IRWIN LUPERON

Doesn t really set up with my phone Other vr apps will prompt to go to Cardboard to calibrate the phone and or viewer but again it doesn t play well with my Galaxy J7 Crown             Sam James III

I would have given a previous version of this app 5 stars but the current version has removed the VR version of Google Earth I have not had the opportunity to travel very much so exploring the 3D models in VR through Google Earth was a fun activity for me But without any warning or input from users Google has taken that feature away and there s not much going for the app without it Unless you want to play Arctic Journey over and over just skip this one     Chelsea Traynor

It works well Recently however I ve had an issue on my LG V30 where everything in vr mode is flipped 90 degrees clockwise I haven t used the vr functions for a long while but when I tried to do so recently this bug kept occurring and made vr unusable If there is a fix out there please let me know and I ll be able to bump the rating back up to a four or five stars In its unusable state it is currently and unfortunately only a one star for me     Jakob Karde

I don t really like this because I can t seem to make the vr set to my goggles because it is from miniso and I can t find a code or qr code and also please make a feature to edit the viewer manually by typing how many ppi is on a phone or by zooming with fingers     Rido Hirendra Aswin Adham

I don t know why but they removed Google earth it was a really good experience but they just delete Google earth and now the only think that was for the start interesting was the artic journey NOTHING MORE I m pissed about it please Google if you want money from people you need a good starting app for the vr headsets or it will die quickly now for real the app is pretty awsome it has good graphics and a good experience for a vr game I saw so many vr games and they are bad but this is good             GangsterCat

It was OK but for some reason it would not work with my vr Bluetooth controller unless I set it to mouse mode instead of vr controller mode if you do read this the best way to solve this issue would be to add an additional button setting for Bluetooth controllers with additional settings that are specifically for maximizing vr gaming with different Bluetooth controllers when setting up the qr code for the whole vr headset if you do this or something like this to fix the issue I will gladly put 5             Triston Youens

works as it should however the display alters between one brightness and a significantly different brightness every other frame only when it is in vr mode which is straining on the eye this happens on both the samsung galaxy s9 and also the s9             Jack Dressen

So you developers have made one point very apparent You LOVE useless buttons Especially when in vr you are very close to the screen The two useless buttons on the top left and the top right are ridiculously annoying and there are no settings to remove them As brilliant as you are these two icons are useless when using a cardboard Make at least an option to remove them They are not even part of apps or something They are just like an useless overlay Hope some dev sees this     Ferdinant Johnson

With probably some update the app does not recognize any viewer profile QR codes anymore Tells me unrecognized QR Code for any viewer incl Google Cardboard 2 and Desktek On Huawei Mate 20 Pro Barcodes worked fine a couple of months ago when using Huawei Mate 8 and probably an older version of the app but now even on the Mate 8 barcodes that worked before aren t recognized anymore     Mathias Conradt

I have used this app in my school before and it worked well then but using it with my own phone it doesn t work well at all 1 the screen is too small so i have to flip my phone for a better view and even then most of my screen is black 2 to optimize it for the specific viewer i have is to scan a QR code on the viewer this app should be optimized for most viewers not for just it s own             A Google user

I wish I could use this it seems great but I don t have Google cardboard so I can t click on any of the buttons without taking my phone out of the goggles I have if this were changed and I know this was made specifically for Google cardboard but it would still be great with any type of goggles I would definitely keep this app                 Katelyn McNab
