Latest update is absolutely useless Doesn t save the login need to re enter credentials each time you open the app Shows balance and total term months as same which isn t the real scenario Doesn t show balance loan amount The UI user interface is not user friendly Also hdfc home loans doesn t have online pre payment payment option No frequent communications All these makes service less of digital and make users to switch their home loans to other banks     Atul Pansare

Absolutely ridiculous to work on updated app Seems all testing is overlooked Nothing is working fine Seriously technical team need to revisit there work Not able to login using userid allowing only through loan OTP is taking lot to time to get delivered on mobile by default eligibility page ia displaying on screen etc I found lots of testing issues Very poor     Rohit Agarwal

The app s latest update makes no sense it has made the app ever more useless Earlier the access was within the app and you could have stayed logged in and use the app whenever you wanted With this update the app takes you to web page and you have to provide loan account and DOB then you will be asked to opt for an OTP option either email or phone if you are lucky I didn t get an option for phone OTP The update has thrown the app backwards in time     Manjunath Krishnamurthy

The app is useful only if one wants to generate provisional statements intrest certificate etc For everything else one has to go to the hdfc limited branch office A simple thing as current outstanding principal is not available It shows principal outstanding as on the start of the financial year i e 1st April of the year We pay EMI every month but no feature to view outstanding amount at any given time Even for amortisation schedule one has to visit or email the branch representatives     dheevar

Pathetic app used so far that too for the most important stuff like money being a developer I understand what they have done redirecting login to the website it is such a pain to the eyes to use this app All customers need a complete new UI with user interactions not just the product to be delivered in a day or two high time team     Shifa Shaikh

After the update the app is not good as it was in older version With upgrade new features has been added but login procedure is not good now there is no option to save password every time we need to fill user id and password Most of the time we get internal server error 500         kripamay Pathak

I had done inquiry for Home Loan in Bank Bazaar Then from all the options I had choose HDFC Bank When i got a call from HDFC Bank then we had just talk about the loan information afterwards they had told me that once talk with our agent for complete information Till now I had not talk with any Agent neither started the loan procedure but my CIBIL Report shows that HDFC Home Loan Inquiry of 1150000 on 01 08 2019 I am not getting proper solution for the issue from HDFC Bank Home Loan                 Ajay Jha

It just opens up the browser what is the use of the app any 5 yr old can build an app which opens a website in the browser The old version was much better Also even the new look of the website is confusing and doesn t covey the information properly     Akshay Sarode

the app seems useless when all it does is to redirect to the hdfc portal website which is going back from the previous user experience than going forward in my opinion we have a lot more facilities in the app than what is currently available with the portal as well which is again a downer     Naveen Kumar B

Has no option to Request Pre payment or partial pre payment of the Home Loan The earlier Web interface had it It is as if HDFC does not want you to pre pay the Home Loan Also there is no option of requesting for change in EMI or change in interest rate fixed floating     Vikram G N

The latest version of the app is horrible it simply redirects you to website in your browser and this is no longer an app and is simply a site redirector The previous version let you save credentials and provided an easy access to the loan accounts Restore the old app if you make your new app similar     Balaji Narasimhan

just updating the UI is of no use Not sure why the accounts are not transparent like SBI each month when the EMI is deducted they are clearly displaying the principal and interested deducted and the remaining balance When a PSU bank is able to give such a transparent details to customers not sure why such a private giant is not able to     Pradeep P

the new rollout version dosent seems to be good though they mention it has UI upgrades For the existing customer login it redirects to browser instead of handling that in app Also all the functionaly is accessed in browser only I feel its waste of using the app     naresh chandran
