Mobile Observatory - The Astronomy App for your Smart PhoneMobile Observatory is the most complete astronomy app on the Android market and the perfect tool for anybody interestered in the sky&39;s wonders, from the occassional ...

I have emailed this developer numerous times concerning upgrading to his new version There is no documentation on their website or discussion forums that covers my very simple question But yet they refuse to answer just one simple question If this is an example of the support available when I actually purchase the product and need help I ll pass Terrible support     CoddleCreek Geek
I have bought several Astro apps and by far this is the best In detail and presentation of data to the user Important astronomical and astrological events are laid out very intuitively Great Simply Brilliant Home run gentlemen                     David Doch
I m very happy with this app The data is kept up to date with regular updates of the object database The functionality is just right for a beginner amateur astronomer The only thing that might be nice to have with the object set are satellites Be careful using outdoors                     Graeme Newlands
Nice but minus 1 star bc bad UI and I just purchased this v2 and the v3 just got released but they charge more for                 Catalin Deluxus
how come when I try to use live view on my tablet I get a message that says your device does not have the necessary sensors for live view                 Rose Amaral
Comprehensive astronomy platform that is useful both for the student and the pro I recommend this app for anyone who enjoys to delve into the universe and its enigmas                     Emil Ciotta
This is a great app for anyone who s interested in astronomy It will share you where celestial objects are in real time real time sunset time and sunrise time It in forms you on what phase the moon is in at the moment and what days it will change its phases It what you move through our solar system in real time With you ability to zoom in on planet moons or just click on them and get info about the object                     Zeke Z ZekeKan
I have been using this app for years I have used plenty of software and I own a 40 astronomy app too I own plenty of books and star charts For your average joe and a majority of people owning a telescope this app has more than enough features and is significantly easier to use A star chart on paper is nice more expensive apps have more depth This app is much more user friendly and just enough for a majority of people I use it most love it Worth every penny I spent and then some                     Made this account just to comment
I have been using this app for a couple years now I also own the premium Sky Safari but it s this app that I end loving more because I find it so much more intuitive The modularity is brilliant particular Tonight s Best feature which is far easier and more relevant to my location than Sky Safari which seems very US biased None of my astronomical colleagues heard of this app so seems to be an unsung hero in my group I also love that developer is still pushing updates with up to date comet info etc It s also the only app or software that gives you a best viewing time for Eathshine Moon Fantastic work and deserves more support Thank you for making my astronomy Stargazing enjoyable                     theycallmemrglass
Amazing amount of information in this app Have tried several astronomy apps this is one of the best Nice display and very easy to use                     jonesyblues
I have been playing with this app for about a week now and while I haven t actually had the app under the stars with my scope yet to determine it s star chart accuracy in terms of spacing and brightness so i can star hop accurately it does appear to be fairy accurate with my paper charts If it indeed turns out that way it ll be much easier to have all this info in one place instead of pages and pages of charts With all the options on this app is really is a fairy powerful program                     A Google user
I too don t like to rent software that is crippled by subscription fees I bought this app with the understanding that updates would have been included not that I d have to buy the app again and again whenever the developer chooses to name it something else So instead of buying the pro version I ll be uninstalling it I just invested my money into Star Walk 2 which requires no additional subscription fees to get all of its features     John Walker
Great app just to tool around in the back yard as well as some serious telescope work seems to be updated frequently with new charts and various info great for the space nerd                 REAL REVIEWS
This app is a treasure trove of all things and then some pertaining to astronomy There is so much on this app that I am on a steep learning curve to take it all in and loving every minute of it Enclosing these guys work really hard to keep this app updated like nearly on a weekly basis so whether you are a professional or amateur like me this is definitely the app for you                     William Brewer
I am new again to astronomy looking for help I found this app and the reviews were good so I bought it thankfully I was not disappointed I spend a lot more time exploring the app features probably due to my lack of experience but it is fun and interesting I think its way undervalued but then if it cost more I may not have tried it HIGH recommendations from an old retired low tech guy                     Peter P
Tons of features on the cheap Figure out the best events coming up use filters for things you will be able to see at your location with your equipment find out where to point your telescope learn more about different bodies and more                     A Google user
Very nice program but sometimes it doesn t work on my cheapo tablet I got a Samsung and this app works better Unfortunatly for me my Samsung doesn t have a compass so I cannot use the live view feature                 A Google user
Pretty good but no sats or space junk the interface is too bulbous and a bit of a waste of space I would prefer a better specified app while dumping the educational style graphics interface You could make a separate version app for newbies and school students                 A Google user
I rate it only 4 stars because your close up on Stars is not very real The photos are still as apposed to really moving Great example Solarwalk 2 Otherwise your app is excellent Very detailed                 Frank Villa
paid money for this and it ain t accurate at all literally looking at the moon just above my phone and it shows its 90 degrees off     James Schuster
One of the few apps that you really do wish came with a tutorial in the form of a human This app provides an obscene amount of data and information Absolutely one of my top 5 apps                     A Google user
Very useful for quickly finding out what planet that was that I saw at dawn planning when to search for a comet and finding out what s up tonight Great app                     Mike Lynch
Detailed and rather complex Reasonable permissions Lacks ISS function Website loading and navigation is slow Developer doesn t respond to correspondence Decent value on sale                 A Google user
Easy to use Excellent choice of scenarios and options                     Carl Makres
This is a great and truly complete app Will support the novice as well as the truly hard core observer Well done and complete thank you for your hard work                     A Google user
Awesome app It s organized well and you can look up the significant sky events that are coming up Worth the purchase                     L Roy
Very capable app with many features that you can add depending on your interests Very intuitive and easy to use                     A Google user
exceptional app Easy and useful for the novice astronomer                     Kevin Arnst
The app is really good loved it I m now sad that it s probably abandoned and Mobile Observatory 3 requires another payment                     Gabriel
great astronomy app easy to use and my go to app when i use my scope in the city                     Bernard Skellingsworth
Totally worth the 5 bucks So much info at your fingertips If you do any night sky watching or even astrophotography this app is a must Well done                     Brian G.
Always works for me A pleasant App to use that gets regular updates and works smoothly with Android I use it everyday                     Mootpoint Jones
My kids u0026 I enjoy hours on this app They have been asking questions even searching themselves for the answers to what s out there u0026 how close are we to it                     A Google user
Great app full of features very useful for planning observing or photography sessions educational                     A Google user
I tried multiple apps to help me locate objects to observe in my telescope and this one is by far the best                     Sean Scott
Great app Useful info easy to know where to go to view what you want to see                     Charlie Eyster
Very informative and easy to use My go to astronomy app Highly recommended                     Terry Morgan
tricky ui to use but wow it really has everything accurate responsive and very stable                 Robert Mayberry
