Dear Bitdefender I have used your app for a while and have had no problems at all up to now Have just updated my Huawei P20 Lite to the latest security updates and now Bitdefender won t stop notifying me that it is looking out for my device and data as well as running constantly in the background consuming a vast amount of power I have to force it to stop but then it will not function As soon as I reopen the app the same thing continues to happen Please help Bernard Edwards
After recent update it is showing a permanent notification which seems to be a requirement from Android system to keep the app running in the background But you should give an option to hide the icon from the top row notification area to save space Also there are no offline scans and scheduled scans even now I don t know the use of keeping the app running in background if it can t scan offline Pradip P
The best i know Easy to use and powerfull The only recommendation to the develloper is in BD central the map to locate the phone should not only show the phone location it should also show the postion of the person searching Last time it took me roughly 1 hour to locate the phone by switching between BD central and google maps to get close enough to my phone to call it to identify the thief That s why only 4 stars for now Natasha Oliva Abeja

I have been happy with Bitdefender but now all of a sudden I have a notification which I cannot clear It says Bitdefender is running We re looking out for your device and data How do I get rid of this Update I turned off notifications and it went away I then turned notifications back on and it did not reappear That is a crazy way to get rid of a notification I will see how it holds up over time Dick Horner
Very diligent It covers many areas some of which I had never considered My only complaint is that it occasionally uses 25 of the CPU or more which with everything else running can really bog down my system I m running an i7 CPU with 16GB of DRAM which is a pretty decent system To be fair browsers are the main memory hogs as I tend to leave lots of tabs open Ken Swisz

I can t access VPN service I have yearly membership subscription It was working fine when it was on the free trial Also since the full subscription the app is not working good for example web protection keeps turning off after I turn it on And the is no contact or email on the actual app to report any faults Can you kindly resolve the VPN issue Edit I emailed them with the problem and the error code and also screenshot of the error yesterday but still I m yet to hear from them radwan abdella
