My phone kept randomly opening this app at sometimes very inopportune times I finally decided i needed to set this up to see if it would stop It will not recognize my voice Then I came here and see that almost every review is negative although it used to be a great app Yet not one reply from the developers I put a review on another app and the developer immediately tried to help Yet here it s only crickets My first Motorola phone since the Incredible and I am kinda disappointed     Melanie Ziegler

Great idea poor execution What I really wanted this app for was hands free texting while driving It only worked very sporadically when I first got the phone and after updating to Android 9 0 it stopped working altogether Very disappointing     Paul Aubin

This current Moto Voice is terrible on my Moto Z3 The one on my moto z works 100x better this one does not recognize my Hello Moto command most of the time in my office It does recognize hello moto at all in my car When it does is asks about which app to use and both apps are the same app It asks to use a mobile or home number to send a text Duh use the mobile number It is illegal to touch my phone when driving now with this piece of junk software I cannot use my phone when driving since I have to touch it since this voice control software is such a piece of junk     pkwatje

This could be a very useful feature due to it having more control over the phone than Google Assistant Instead Moto removed the ability to specify a wake word which Im sure has no reasonable explanation other than Moto using it for advertising Hello moto sounds ridiculous and doesn t roll off the tongue so this feature is rendered useless for myself and many others Chalk this up as yet another example of Moto getting worse not better like other companies     Dan R

It is so sporadic My old phone worked better This app works only sometimes or it echoes itself and is confusing it s supposed to work when and where it is set up for but alternatively reads messages aloud when I am shopping which it is not supposed to do At other times it doesn t work at all This newer version is horrible Please update it or fix it Thanks     Marie Lara

It says it was last updated January 2017 not consistent with the frequent app updates review that I read I m having problems with it recognizing my voice even after re launching and it also speaks in a really fast forward weird tone back to me So fast I cannot understand it It works well for the first couple months of my phone and I d probably give it 5 stars if it was still doing the same             A Google user

I cannot use OK Google with this app installed The microphone icon no longer appears on my screen like it used to do so I cannot tap it and give a command When I try to set up Ok Google it tells me that Moto Voice is in control So now I have no proper voice controls on my phone s If I try to uninstall it I cannot That s why it s a 1star application     Howard Walker

I used to be able to speak my password but now I was told that I need to get the latest phone to enable that feature I m disappointed that once I did the system ungrade the feature is no longer available If Moto graded their newer phones to be able to say your password they should provide system updates to all their phones to enable the feature across the board Phones are expensive and they can t expect everyone to get a new phone every time they launch a new product         Bo Om

Moto Voice from original Moto X was the only reason why I got a Motorola Phone again I was expecting the same functionality What a disappointment that was All of the useful functionality is gone and all that is left is a useless mess Google s software is far inferior to that from the original Moto X too I simply disabled both now and see no reason to make my next phone a Moto     A Google user

Besides the confusion from moto actions and voice switching directly to Google voice and it still cannot order me a pizza or provide other services from across the room It is good for voice recognition if it was capable of providing services via voice control completely hands free which would provide revenue more so than devices or apps and all the major work is already done I cant see much but tying what you already have together to provide an unknown number of services and revenue                 Daniel Travis Formhals

It worked great on my last Motorola Turbo 2 Droid but pretty much useless on my new Moto Z3 It reads my messages clearly but totally runs amuck by responding to all my messages with gibberish This is the case even if I remain silent Very embarrassing and frustrating I will probably have to disable it altogether if I can t find and fix this bug     Gar Millar

I am a throat cancer survivor and due to damage to my I have very hard time repeating the word Google consistently the ability use a simple phrase like okay Moto and have control over what the phrases that you use to start the app is fantastic So it s kind of just like using Google Assistant except it s tailored to me which is most important Thank you Motorola                     Tim Kataras

it s an amazing app and it works really well but the problem is it ll mistake random words for the show me commands and open random apps at random times This is a real issue and it really needs to be fixed The Moto forms have done nothing to help either                 Ethan Sandum

Moto Z3 The Talk To Me feature does read texts to me in the car and gives me the opportunity to respond but on my Moto Z Force it read texts through my car s speaker but it doesn t apparently doesn t do that with my Moto Z3 Can this be fixed             Daniel Shad
