QuickBooks Self-Employed

The QuickBooks Self-Employed is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new QuickBooks Self-Employed app version 1.0 has been updated on 2014-08-22. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Pretty much a waste especially if you don t have a subscription Nothing special about the free trial to make you even want to pay for it and the mileage tracking is buggy and inconsistent At the end of the trial a message says you ll lose data by not subscribing Pretty sure this app doesn t even have half my data Definitely not worth it         Kathryn Smith

Inaccurate tax reports and auto sync with bank accounts stopped working I spent hours with their tech support over six weeks trying to fix the bank transaction sync problem and they were unable to resolve it With these two problems there is no reason for me to use and pay for this product Telephone support is not available it is all done by message and email     Larry Cox

Tracks my mileage well but it needs to show my actual travel Not just a start and end point Even the free mileage tracking apps do this It would look really shady come tax time What if I happen to be audited and the app shows I drove 100 miles but my start and end points are 14 miles away from eachother That s not okay Please add this feature             Jen C

A useful tool if you don t want to file quarterly taxes online If you want to file to file online then you d better have gotten the Turbo Tax Bundle because you can t upgrade from just Self Employed You ll be out that money and have to buy an entirely new subscription and log everything all over again     Erin Cahill

Got this free app to auto track mileage u0026 digitally organize my receipts After using it a while I got alerts that all my data would be lost if I didn t start paying them monthly I ve stuck it out since they already had a lot of my info Then I saw that the auto track rarely works It s not set up for you to categorize receipts with your own descriptions I m an actor and have to use the vague other business expenses label Avoid this app Misleading u0026 not user friendly     Amanda Rountree

Don waste your money This app does not work worth a damn I support QB in my IT job and i have never seen such a por product So far this app has been very disapointing When trying to setup the app with my account the app decided it was going to add all accounts report the wrong amount in the account and took forever to get them removed         Lawrence Borelli

Works well although they need to add a switch to a different account button I have 2 businesses 2 QBSE accounts If I try to log into a different account in the app it ll still show the dashboard for account 1 but if I look at log in details it shows account 2 I have to close the app reopen it and log in multiple times to get it to show my other account                 Sari Kaufman

Very inconsistent As a ride share business I need very accurate trips This app misses rides even though I have all of the settings correct It also has a hard time connecting to my financial accounts Customer service folks through chat are also a serious joke I was told that engineering was going to get back to me after the last update messed the app up and nobody did The online support suggestion was to use my Google tracking for an import What am I paying for Then     Michael Jones

I installed this app and right away it accessed all my accounts so that I could categorize freelance income and deductable expenses the app also tracks mileage But after a week the accounts stopped syncing All of them I can t make it sync and Intuit s customer service is hilariously awful No help at all So I absolutely cannot recommend this app The major job it has it cannot do It s pretty good so tracking mileage So two stars But I dumped it         T.R. This stupid app will just stop tracking milage for no reason my phone didnt shut off I didnt sign out and suddenly at the end of the day it tells me the auto tracking is off WHY I DIDNT TURN IT OFF this is incredibly frustrating when you pay for the service and depend on it to accurately keep track of this stuff for tax time     Dave Stone

Why would I want to pay for this app when 99 of the time it doesn t track my mileage I have to manually input it I went to help did what it said to do in my settings on my phone and still doesn t work Also I had to go to QB on the internet because help in the app doesn t even open On my dashboard mileage is always showing that there is an error I ve uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked for about an hour and then it showed an error again And you want me to buy your product     John Burke

Please fix this app You rarely can make an entire invoice without the app crashing and unable to save it all The only way to successfully save the invoice is to save it after each day has been entered which at times is very infuriating Other than that the app isn t bad         Blake Mowen

Quickbooks is great it is very handy being able to access invoice anywhere on the go The only issue I have is that there isn t an option to receive partial payments The nature of my business as well as thousands of other businesses we require a deposit to secure their business It would be great if the developers created a deposit made column so on the invoice it ll say remaining balance instead of just paying in full This is a concern many of my clients bring to my attention                 Justin Bianco

My only complaints are that you are forced to email invoices even if the client prefers a paper one and if a client pays only part of an invoice there is no way to record that It s all or nothing If you fixed these 2 issues this would be a top app for me             Mandy Jones

This is definitely not working I have everything set for boosted sensitivity for tracking and it does not track my drives properly Since I really only want to use it to track my ride sharing mileage this is not useful to me I would like a refund     Suzanne Summa

This app work fine for awhile was great with tracking my trips but then it just stopped doing it and I ve been waiting for something from customer service or tech support for 4 days now I got one same day response and then absolutely nothing to help my problem their customer service is pathetic I do not recommend this app         Shawn Anderson

Edit This app and the engineers working on it are a disaster Every other update breaks the app so that it no longer tracks mileage which is my primary reason for using this The way this is maintained it will never be reliable Spending any money on this is a tremendous waste of time     Robert Cabrera

The app signs you out automatically and shuts off automatic mileage resulting in missed mileage I can imagine people who only work in offices would never understand an issue like this To me this defeats the purpose 5 stars if this issue is fixed         William Blais

According to customer service app has a known issue that duplicates transactions from one bank account to another Asked to get a refund since the app is making my bookkeeping more difficult instead of easier but customer service hasn t been helpful for that Not worth getting this app until that issue is fixed         Nick Fletcher

My free trial is almost over I m really disappointed I ve heard how good this app was I drive for Grubhub since I ve been using this app it has yet to keep track of a full night of delivery driving mileage for me The last day this app tracked my mileage while driving was September 7th 2019 I have to manually log them in after every night driving Grubhub Its doing a wonderful job of logging my transactions Just wish that would do the same thing with my mileage Thinking about deleting     Robert Jones
