If you are Android owner,you now can download FoxFi (Beta) for free from Google Play. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new FoxFi (Beta) app version 2.14 has been updated on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: 2.2 and up

It worked nicely when i installed the trial i paid for the unlocked version and then hardly ever worked got little frustrated and did some research seemed everything was good on my end It showed it was connected and was connecting just fine but my connection speed was not increasing I ended up just plugging my usb cable into another usb port and voila working perfectly so far i will give 4 stars so long as it remains stable connection speed is fantastic when its working im not sure the feature that hides data usage is working though need to experiment with that a bit more                 Er Ricci

great i have used pda net sense way back with slide out keybord phones way before hot spot was born and it took a little bit of feness back then to get it to work these days its a cake walk download on the phone and install to pc and the usb teather has never let me down always works amazing the way att changed the plan to the 65 dollar plan makes the teather unlimited 4 g its fast and depends on how good the phone is to o noticed over the years                     Brandon Cole

I live in a rural area with almost no options when it comes to broadband internet besides satellite if you can even call that garbage broadband After multiple trials with hotspots it all ended it flames I am ecstatic my friend recommended this app I use it to watch YouTube and play runescape through tether using only mobile data                     James Bowyer

It used to be a useful as to the point you got depending on it cause it was reliable now it does not work not been updated in years but there has been no word instead you have a horrible alternative     Richard Crum

I pay 75 dollars to tmobile every month I dont use the hide tether option but this app has been reliably supplying me with Effective wifi and tether for 4 years over at least half a dozen phones upgrading to an s10 I realize the pdanet app is actually faster than the easier to use built in hotspot Never regretted purchasing though to be fair I m using tether with pdanet                     Cody Underwood

Both the wifi and usb tethering don t work I have newer android phones with the hotspot feature built into the OS The provider doesn t allow the tethering How does the provider know I trying to tether when using this app Please fix this since the providers are deciding HOW we can use our data and CHARGING us for using it on peripheral devices     Aric Pennington

love foxfi i use 1 of my phones as a router in essance you can hide your conection from phone to your CPU so it looks to gour carrier you are charging and is usibg your data in my case is free unlimited then run a HDMI cord ti your Tv and blamo you can use your computer at tge sane time watching a movie on the tv                     A Google user

I used to love this app but now I have mixed feelings about it I just got to know because I used to be able to connect my mobile device to foxfi in order to use it as a hotspot for my ps4 but then all of sudden this latest update is telling me I have internet but I can t use it for gaming Do I have to use a laptop or a computer for the LGK20 or is there another way for me to use pdanet without the laptop computer or USB debugging If not all I ask is it possible can y all make it possible in the next update to allow people such as myself who s using an LGK20 compatible for pdanet with the need of a computer I paid for your app and I loved using it Got me out of many sticky situations I just need some help from the person who developed the app Some insight Please and thank you             Chris Holt

purchaced the full version worked for couple weeks now have to disconnect and then reconnect constantly for it to keep working and its not my service it only does it on andriod or iphone thats connected computer works fine always             Jason Bruner

Since the first time I had to manually get down into my phone to do what I wanted it to do and after hours of spent time with each new upgrade or firmware switch then all of the sudden I could just use this app to do what I had spent hours doing sometimes I don t know what to do with my time on the internet anymore since I mostly used it to crack and understand how to make my device exactly what I wanted Now it all comes in a convenient download Thank you You guys rock                     Bry G

Been a long time user of this app but the last few years I have not used it I got a Chromebook and could not tether I installed Linux on it and with this app I still could not because there is no Linux support However now that the WiFi Direct option is available I can finally use this app again and tether while in ChromeOS So excited I love using ChromeOS but don t trust connecting to anything but my own wifi So glad I can use this again and the setup was flawless                     TJ

PDANet u0026 FoxFi user here the app works but compatibility with Phones and Android Versions do vary it works much less on Android 7 u0026 8 However there is a trick that works for me so it may work for you Enable the hotspot normally and then through FoxFi click the 3 dots next to the version numbers and click on Run Proxy you should get the message saying it s running reconnect any devices to your hotspot and it should work                     Jaime Garcia

As of March 2019 this no longer works As most people know this is now just the license key for the full version of PdaNet The PdaNet app no longer recognizes this license key At the bottom where it used to say something about registered FoxFi key installed it now just says Checking Full Version 5 Clicking on Checking Full Version opens a new dialog box and if I click UNLOCK WITH KEY APP instead of accepting that FoxFi is installed it says this instead FoxFi Key This app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly Try checking for updates or contact the developer F u0026 Until this week I would have given the app 5 stars because it worked incredibly well If this is fixed I ll update the review accordingly     A Google user

Good app to tether my android tablet to my 2016 lg us375 2017 lg us215 now smartphone on US cellular without wi fi hotspot No tethering pay stuff from the phone co so it does exactly what it says also has a good ui and easy to use main screen needs a option to have the password not show on screen in the app for people using this app in a public place airport restaurant etc Needs to have a option to adjust the power so if im using this and i have my phone in my pocket and my tablet in my hand s i can turn down the broadcast power to use less battery but still get a good signal And needs a option to use a static ip address for some devices my dumb dsi having issues with it because it does not like how this apps dhcp works                     nathan mead

been a user for almost 8 years from teathering of PDAnet to the addition of FoxFi and had no complaints until now Verizon has forced an update to my phone and the app has been blocked from use I have more than gotten my money s worth from this app but now that it is blocked im finding myself needing it more than i used to and i no longer have access if you guys get it fixed i will 5star the app again but as long as its down im not changing my position     Dreaconus Silvershade
