Pleco is the best of the best of any dictionaries especially the paid version I think people who give this app low rating because they only use the free version which is very limited The cost is peanut compare to the value you get Paid version is completely worth it It has a lot of example sentences When I do not undestand something just tap and popup dictionary will appear there are combo of 20 dictionaries and a lot useful feature This is the best dictionary I have used in my life                     Amancio Carlos Gomez

This is singlehandedly the most useful app I have used while learning Mandarin The on screen OCR makes using Chinese apps so much easier and the clipboard monitor allows me to translate messages and learn new vocabulary in the process The OCR is worth every penny I highly recommend this app Again it has been such a valuable learning tool and I am so glad I have this app during my time in China                     Casey Sanders

A good Chinese program except for the clipboard reader that is so intrusive I disabled the screen reader and made sure that the send Reader text to Clip Reader is off Yet when other android prog uses the android copy function the clipboard contents are revealed in the Pleco Clip Reader Intrusive Understandable if it copies Chinese words to look up in the dictionary but it copies everything even if there isn t a single Chinese character             David Tay

Ridiculously amazing Several dictionaries and varied flashcard system where you can test yourself in various ways levels and or some own collection of favourite words I m also in love with the screen reader that makes all other chinese learning apps more useful They often don t tell you what individial symbols mean but pleco let s you select on screen and see all definitions which helps with learning complicated words or if you just want to add to favourites to make then appear in test later                     Alex x

Lived in China for a year and didn t have a Chinese sim card so this app being an offline dictionary saved me a bunch of times Sometimes takes a little effort to translate a whole sentence with it s not Google translate but for getting the point across it does an awesome job                     Jo Smuts
