It s great in learning some of the basic things but I just wish the field expands not just for learning the basic things But when I try to learn more I found that we had to pay a certain amount of money And that just disappoints me cause I know I won t be able to pay for it as I don t have any paying jobs and I m still in my teens so it would be great if u could have any other way for us to learn more without paying Again ur app is great                 Hatneihoih Gangte

I think this will actually work for me I ve tried so many apps in the past but this is about putting sentences together and becoming fluent The conjugation goes right alongside phrases and vocabulary building Conjugation and sentence structure is what is usually lacking on apps but this is great I ll be upgrading to premium soon I wonder what helpful tools there are Good job team Thanks I ll write my next review in japanese lol                     MJk

I have a major issue Why is the only choice romaji or kanji Why not kana With only kanji I don t have the chance to know how to pronounce the kanji And anyone that knows anything about learning Japanese knows that romaji should be abandoned immediately The function of the app seems to be good but I will need to continue with the trial for a little longer Edit You lose another star because even though notifications are turned off in app you still send pop notifications         David Runnels

Really learning a fair deal I ve come a long way in 4 days at my own pace Would absolutely recommend However it could do with some sort of function to explain sentence structure etc It s possible this comes further down the line and I m getting ahead of myself But yeah                 Gaz

Buggy translations voice not matching text which also does not match the English translation chat bot is unusable doesn t understand a phrase I say and I can t use alternative phrases that would be typical of the context Better than duolingo since it isn t constantly trying to train me on hiragana and katakana and isn t reteaching me things i already knew over and over             Arianna Osar

downgrading my rating to 2 stars way too many issues especially with the daily lessons make it not enjoyable While the learning style is solid and useful the context is terrible at times and randomly it will ask in daily lessons to spell a word you just leaned like astronaut in Japanese literally 10 seconds ago And even if you re right other times youll be hit because there were 3 same letters out of order But the real rating killer is the constant special offer harassment         Kami Snowpaw

I enjoy this app been using it for many years can pick it up whenever I am ready and learn at my own pace Not only have I been learning Japanese for 100 s of hours but I can also study any language where I might want to use wherever I travel It gives you agm good varied and effective way to be able to speak and understand another language Even allowing you to learn in the language s own symbol systems if you want to do that too I upgraded to premium and it has been well worth it                     Vicki Mills

This had been a 5 star app for me but the sound quality seems to be buggy now and it cuts out half the time and almost always ends in staticky noises Its frustrating since I have payed for it and I had been worried that my phone s speakers were failing But this is the only app that is making the crackling noises while it is vocalizing Honestly If that was fixed I d be pretty happy             Cordelia Gillman

This app is okay if you just want to memorize phrases However if you want to learn Japanese it falls very short It does not explain grammar at all for example why I drink is sometimes watashi wa nomu and other times you say watashi wa nomimasu if it is simply polite and casual intonation it should explain I m on the free trial I don t think this is really for me I want to learn to speak fluent         Kailey Enns

i think it s really helpfull and ive always wanted to learn Japanese and ive learned about 5 words and 2 phrazes in about 2 days though the part where you have to say the phraze in the microphone is hard to deal with because it takes in what everyone around me is saying so i get more questions wrong than i have to but other wise i think its definitely an app thats worth spending your time on if you want to learn Japanese                 Family Rosch

Doesn t appear to have a way to switch from Romanji over to Hiragana This will only hinder a serious learner in the long run If you don t want to learn the script skip this and go straight to Pimsleur otherwise use Duolingo     Cieth Ukazair
