I have many devices and it works on them all Those with issues with it not continually reading it s due to your device My HTC M9 works as it should but my wife s S5 and my Nexus6 you ll have to either cover the sensor then uncover or change expose amount My max reading was 32500 in direct sunlight                     Great app that s dependant on device Charles Hogard Jr
