I had to install this for a project for work Basically installing all Ottawa Newspaper Apps I left Metro installed All Postmedia are unter this generic app and it sucks Lackluster

This app constantly crashessubmitted numerous crash reports and still noone listens Fix the app Its broken Changed it to a 3 star rating as the app has improved upon the numerous app crashes Lets call it the crash app

This is a really poor piece of work From time to time I try it on my tab just to see what going blind might feel like CRAP

For some reason on my galaxy tab 2 101 the title of each article only uses a small portion of the screen width resulting in truncated headlines that are indecipherable Looks much better on my galaxy s5 phone Headlines too short

So glad to see the older style app is available still on android I stopped reading the citizen on my previous phone iPhone because the new one was such a step backward Get this one

I was hoping with the change to a paid service that the Citizen app would have been improved Its not great on a phone and absolutely terrible on a tablet fixed to portrait orientation only and rendering is horizontal rows with vast quantities of whitespace across the balance of the tablet screen Rendering also leaves a lot to be desired with images spilling over onto unrelated text Disappointing Poor rendering fixed orientation disappointing interface

After trying many times to point out a problem with the app I will give up Another print giant that cannot figure out online Poor app and absolutely not support App developers totally ignore problems

It does give the news accurately and quickly but it seems to crash constantly Good inf unstable

The large pop up ad is annoying I dont mind banner or footer ads but the pop up is to much so I rarely use the app and instead use apps from other sources Pop Up Ad Ruins It

I really take my hat off to the Ottawa for being balanced and critical and unapologetic Most unleashed news

This app isnt really worth it A search function would be nice But Way too many adspopups Very little content And rarely updated I am considering deleting the app since by the time news gets uploaded I have generally heard it elsewhere This app isnt really worth it

No good for tablets as its locked in portrait orientation with no good reason Useless when my tablet is in its keyboard dock Locked in Portrait Orientation

Last update broke the app Cannot load app properly anymore After a month of no fix I am going to install this app Lucky for me there are several other apps to replace this app Now it is not worth it for me to even consider paying for premium content due to poor support of this app Bad support equal one less reader
