If you are Android owner,you now can download Azure Authenticator for free from Google Play. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Azure Authenticator app version 3.0 has been updated on 2015-01-13. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I ve been using this app for a couple of years It works well enough and is usually pretty quick to do its thing in the background Last 2 months though I ve had to uninstall and reinstall not the quickest process either just to get a couple weeks of use at a time The worst part is when this app malfunctions it brings down the whole Office suite of apps with it             Josh J

Insecure When I log in my hotmail account on another computer and the browser asks for approval on my phone When I open the app the approval appears immediately without my finger print security This means that you can approve the access for the website via the app without any security This should be fixed Please fix it asap Thanks             D D Thinh Pham

Once i understood the app I Love It I use it to authenticate new installs approve access and even 2nd step verification for my masters program One click verification vs pictures email codes or even secret question is a no brainer Small learning curve expecially when you switch phones One bit of advice authorize the new phone before resetting the old one                     Shawn Fowler

Good overall BUT in one of the recent updates cloud backup was introduced but there was no mention of how it works For example why don t you use some local passphrase to unlock the backup For now all that means that IN CASE someone has access to my account he has access to ALL MY 2nd FACTORS at once without any additional LOCAL security For now I see that you are probably encrypting the configuration with some parameter related to my account but the main thing is that you have that control it s not in my hands completely                     Dima Pursanov

This is the best authenticator app for Office 365 and Microsoft accounts I just wish it synced to the cloud so I could restore when I change phones For that reason I use this for those accounts and Authy for all others Update Microsoft Authenticator now supports backing up to a cloud account so five stars                     Robin Whiting

It s tedious to show hide a code it requires two steps to show hide a code I have over a dozen of accounts I like the codes to be hidden by default to keep the account list compact But it is not convenient to toggle the code Please just put a button there you can just show hide the code with just a single click Or you can just toggle the code by tapping the account name And please add show all codes and hide all codes menu items                     Shiny Wong

Its good helps me when ive locked myself out but sometimes when told to tap the it gives e there nowhere to find it It goes to a blank all white page I end up having to try another way option Its a Hassel but in the end a long end I get into my acct             HeathTB

This app is great and works as expected until you add a lot of accounts I have roughly 70 user accounts configured in the app and it has slowed down to the point where Android is asking me if I want to close the app or wait when I launch the app and when I try to add another account Other Authenticator apps available can handle a large number of Microsoft Accounts without the delay so it seems like something that could be fixed         Stuart Meeks
