This app is amazing It has a lot of videos to watch And the thing is they are all appropriate for kids This app is recommended for people who are under the age of 13 My little brother who is three years old has used YouTube kids for a while now He already knows how to sing the alphabet now I love this app Thank God this app exists                     Hacker Productions

Looks boring but Its for children anyways Just please don t put the new rules on the original youtube platform there s also adults there okay don t just let children be free because theres already the youtube for kids and people in the original youtube platform aren t free anymore if you put down the rules I miss the old youtube                 Pawfulp

I love it This app definitely keeps my kiddos from happening upon inappropriate content My 7yr old is very interested in the cool teenager stuff but a lot of it is waay too violent morbid or sexual so I always have to monitor him extra close and this app really is a big help Only critique I have is that I wish the younger aged categories had a little wider variety It seems to mostly be a lot of the same things regardless of what you search                 Patrick Harrison

Doesn t work on my Pixel2 It starts with two buttons with no text if I click on the first one on left it quits the app the right one goes to the next screen with no information just two arrows on each side when clicked on the right one it brings you to the next page where the parent s is asked once the year of birth is inserted it pops up a message to confirm the year of birth when I click on confirm the app crashes     Ricardo Silva

This app is really good I downloaded this app because my youtube was not working I did not expect this to be be so nice Here kids can watch videos just made for them They can watch many cartoons like Mr Bean Talking Tom and friends Chotta Bheem and many more It is really fun for kids                     suzanne chatterjee

App needs to notify you that the channel you re subscribed too posted tired of just watching clips of shows while I could watch full episodes on regular YouTube AND can you add a add play list option for older kids also add more channels and less restrictions because some people dont want to use regular YouTube ADDED A STAR they added a new preschool mode so they re now more full episodes but still needs work     Ground Hog

My kids love it They are 5 and 2 They especially enjoy Badanamu Rolley Polley Ollie Elmo and Dave and Ava This app provides easy kid friendly access It is safe for kids to use without inappropriate content I don t have to worry about ads that are full of violence or adult themes blasting at my kids every couple of minutes which really puts a parent at ease                     Jasmine Howerton Ivo

I would love to try this app but it crashes on all of my three devices right after asking for the year of my birth a brand new Samsung Galaxy A70 with official Android 9 system a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with official Android 7 1 system and a Google LG Nexus 5 with custom Android 9 system EDIT As a matter of fact I did manage to get past the age question by entering 1900 as the year of my birth no crash but after that it won t accept the right answer to the subsequent math question     Christian Lesage

So far both my little one and I like this app she can watch some fun and educational shows and I don t have to worry about some random R rated innapropriate commercial or video popping up We use it mostly for when we re on the road but I definitely recommend this app as a replacement for kids to watch to just regular YouTube                     Kel Kot

There is no search function Sure there s a search button and you can type in search terms but the results will have nothing to do with what you searched Even if you type a specific channel name you will not get a single result from that channel just Morphle and maybe some low effort Russian Bot content     Sally Jardine

My toddlers just love it They learn a lot and love the learning based cartoons I like that I have control over what they watch and how much time they can spend on it as well Excellent app I recommended for anyone who has children and wants them to have some entertainment all the while learning at the same time                     Justin Whetstone

Many channels with content perfectly safe for kids are not watchable regardless of the kid s age set in the app However videos with similar content are available It s impossible to understand which content from big YouTube makes it to YTK If algorithms can t do the job I would like to be able to make approve videos and channels from big YouTube for my kid to watch in YTK I would mitigate the problem by giving my kid normal YouTube but on Family Link devices it s impossible     Konstantin Sharlaimov

This app is great I use it for my son age 4 It really helps weed out some of the questionable content that seems to creep in to what he watches on normal YouTube However one really big limitation is that you can t download videos to watch later So if there is no internet connection you re screwed Also if you re using the Family Link app this is the only version of YouTube that can be used So there is no way to download videos unless you have another media app that allows downloads             Travis Meyer

this application vs the regular version is great for kids Even if you are around and think you are aware of what they see and hear on regular YouTube you can definitely and most of the times accidentally come across unwanted material this application does a great job of filtering out just the right content for your child Answer a few simple questions and all the control yours from content to to the allowed amount of time tailored just to your kids likeings                     Shannon McCroskey

I m very disapointed because there is no new episodes what so ever on any channel please fix this otherwise I LOVE this app it helps kids like me not to find anything bad or inappropriate for kids of all ages my favorite YouTubers are gone to the snow dogs and there is new videos on YouTube but not on YouTube kids and I want it see their new videos please please please fix this                 ColorfulPuppy08 I can't tell. sorry

App doesn t lock Itself after setting the timer my child managed to increase the timer after clicking on I m a parent and being asked a very very easy question wouldn t recommend     bushra b

I really like this app but I find it odd when it updates it says disabled It s weird because an app can only be disabled if it s an app that was with the device automatically You can only install or uninstall YouTube Kids Please fix From your kid client MaryTheLamb X3 Edit It s worse It happens randomly I was watching a video and it just took me out of the app and when I look back to use it again it s not there I have to do this AGAIN PLEASE FIX             MaryTheLamb X3

Useful app yet needs some improvement 1 Timer let parents set up a timer that will automatically stop playing any more videos This would be very handy in limitting kid s screen time without parent being a bad guy 2 Language preferences let parents choose a list of languages for videos appearing in autoplay suggestions It always jumps from English and Russian main languages in our family to French Italian etc which is very inconvenient                 Natalia Puchkova

Most of the time this app if amazing Keeps my LG entertained when I just need half an hour to get some jobs done or have a break Recently though the app has been jumping and changing videos but not playing like an invisible person is going mad with the app Is this an issue with the app Could you look into this please                 Helena Atkinson

I cannot edit or change my daughters settings I know there is supposed to be a lock in the bottom right corner but all there is is a little cog for the settings and it gives nothing in the way of controls and I cant seem to find how to fix this I cant control her screen time or what she watches so I ve just had to disable the app altogether and re enable it for a short but and constantly have to block videos or channels     Marie Nicoletti

Totally useless app If you have an android device it means that you have the normal YouTube app installed as well YouTube app is mandatory on all Android devices This means it can t be uninstalled So despite downloading YouTube Kids app my children still use the normal YouTube and there s nothing I can do about that Why Google Why     The Knick
