If you are Android owner,you now can download Bit Finder (for Fitbits) for free from Google Play. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Bit Finder (for Fitbits) app version 0.1.2 has been updated on 2015-03-14. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This app works great I dropped my fitbit alta about 30 ft into some woods Being late august there was a thick green underbrush Standing on the edge of the woods I was able to get a connection It actually took a couple of tries of toggling the bluetooth on and off to get a lock where the app gave me a constant signal reading After that I just walked around until I found the area with the highest signal then I moved my phone down to ground level and did the same Fitbit found                     Matthew Prentice

Five Stars Isn t Enough Found my son s Versa with this app It was down in between the seats of our truck where the seatbelt mounts So relieved I had to find a YouTube video to give me a better understanding of the app but wasn t inconvenienced If it shows your device click on it press the star to start tracking The needle in red indicates you re close to the device                     A Google user

Absolutely brilliant app Lost Fitbit searched the house top to bottom and absolutely no sign of it Downloaded the app trick is to turn off the Bluetooth on the device paired with it Found it within 5 minutes Trick is to move quite slowly once in the right area so the signal strength updates The Fitbit had dropped into a drawer full of clothes that we d already searched twice Probably wouldn t have ever found it without this app Superb Thanks to the developer                     Vinny Hassell

My wife and I both have Fitbit Charge 3 devices Since they show up as Charge 3 with no distinction of names I was interested in finding their respective MAC addresses Fitbit to my knowledge does not present this information nor make it easy to find this info or other stuff for that matter Checked around and found this app Does exactly what it says with no must nor fuss very clean I have my MAC addresses and Marc has our thanks We did not try out finding a lost Fitbit as it was right in hand It would be a good move on Fitbit s part to buy this app from Marc and make it available to their customers                     Michael Socha
