Panasonic Blu-ray Remote 2012

I tried several times to use this app hoping maybe it would let me do things my remote cannot such as typing searches in my DMPBDT210P players YouTube app but it never even detected my player     Nice Idea but not usable

I was expecting a smooth interface which it has but after almost 30 minutes it still wouldnt connect to my BDT220P bluray player        Unimpressed

STOPPED WORKING AFTER UPDATE CAN NOT FIND MY DVD PLAYER It was great when it worked but has failed Old A it actually works B it practically set itself up C its very intuitive D It has all the features of the standard controller E it does all the extra little things that you think that it could do being ran on an Android like using the Android keyboard It is much easier to type with than the stock remote I am very picky about my apps and rarely rate anything this high I am impressed     Used to be Freaking Awesome

Lovin it My old HTC Desire works no problems just remember to go into the network settings menu in the player settings menu and turn on Remote Device Im thinking a few Muppets havent done this                 Lovin it

This app randomly connects to my blu ray player when connected to wifi When it works its excellent when it doesnt its terrible It would be nice if the app could connect when my blu ray player is wired to my router as well as over wifi that would make the app 5 star for me           Nice but needs improvement

This app is very good issues that need addressing include connecting to the player on the home network I have found that I am unable to find the player when using a wired connection although other content is working so its definitely configured correctly but the app works perfectly well if the player is connected via wireless Access to device content through the app would also be nice so I could stream media from my device from within the app Otherwise good job              Very good But

I have seen most complaints on the internet but decided to buy this bluray player because of high Cnet ratingsThe problem is Panasonic does not include step by step instructionsEven i had trouble at 1stit would say it was connected to my router and pass that test but would fail the internet connection test All i did was unplug n reset both my modem n router after intial setupdid the test again and it worked lastly install this app but b sure to change ur phone settings to WIFI to use this app                 Works Fine

People need to learn how to setup their router correctly if they want to use the player wired and android wirelessly Make sure youre on the same subnet Update ur firmware Check ur remote setting on the player                 Check ur settings

Works perfectly love the gesture feature and virtual controller I know Ill misplace the controller but I always have my phone on me so its very handy                 Perfect

I have Motorolla Razr Maxx with ICS OS I am unable to even see the device Niether my Blu Ray Player BDT 220 nor My Razr maxx can detect each other I tried with my another phone Motorolla Droid Bionic with Adnroid 234 OS still it did not work Both the systems are unable to detect eachother I tired with my IPAD 3 with IOS 6 it did not work The Panasonic Blu Ray Player BDT220 was set to my home Wireless which worked properly I was also able to view Youtube videos All my systems BluRay BDT220 My phones Razr Maxx Driod Bionic and iPad are are set on the same Wireles Network But none of the device is even searched in Device Input This is not working with any of my devices I do not know whether it is the problem of the hardware or Software needs to be upgraded and compatible with ICS and IOS6 or whether the App should be compatible to Razr Maxx Droid Bionic or iPAD 3 This BluRay player sucks as it does not perform the connecting to my any devices I RESET THE PLAYER AND STARTED CONFIGURING AGAIN NOW MY RAZR MAXX WAS ABLE TO DETECT THE BDT220 It is a good app but not great app It should be enhanced so that user Stream Web media directly     BDT220 able to Detect Razr Maxx after Reset

No issues for my galaxy S3 Connected the Panasonic bdt321p to my wifi updated the unit Installed app on phone and now i have a phonimote The phonimote has more functions than the stock remote fyi              Nice

Doesnt connect Worked perfectly for a long time then I moved house and got a different ISP could never get it to connect again did factory reset on player DMPBDT320 and reinstalled app on phone Samsung Galaxy S4 and on my tablet Google Nexus 7 mk2 they are all on same network and the settings are correct checked and triple checked yes the bloody subnet mask is the same Please fix this Panasonic as the provided remote is hateful     Doesnt connect

Cant find bdt220 Player has settings configured correctly its hooked up through wired Ethernet connection but the app cant find it I can see the player on my network and I can ping it successfully     Cant find bdt220

Absolutely perfect it works without any problem Both devices have their firmware updated at the last version both connected via WiFi                 BDT320 and Galaxy s3

I thought since I was connecting my bluray with wifi I had to do the same for the remote nope Switched to home network and it works perfectly Just wish lag time were a bit better                 Awesome

Took a while to get this thing to work You have to do more than just go into settngs and set the remote device but it works and very functional The downside is there is no clear cut way to get your mobile device to connect with this unit After I verified my remote device was on I pressed up twice from the home screen then right The app immediately picked up the unit and I couldnt be happier              Got it to work

Dont Bother this is junk The app found my BDT220 just fine but the controls are so awkward and scattered on a dozen different windows that this app is pretty much useless It takes a long time every time for this app to find the player so long in fact that I just give up and go get the remote Very poorly thoughtout poorly implemented and not worth struggling with Just dont bother theres a good reason that this app has so many 1star ratings     Dont Bother this is junk

I read the reviews and decided to try my smartphone At first I got discouraged because my player did not find my phone but after maybe 10 min the devices connected and it is working pretty well              Working for Android EVO HTC 4G

Good app works The remote interface has buttons very close together and is hard to use Major downside is the lack of volume controls I have all Panasonic components with Vierra connect and I cant control the volume Really           Decent

Panasonic has a great app for controlling their TV lineupso I dont get why I have nowhere near the ease of use speed or designthey should integrate this into their TV app Also I should add the bluray and TV quality is top notch        TV Apps Great should integrate

The remote could benefit from a canon eos type feature where we can see the video output on the smartphone and functionnality is using all the capabilities of a smartphone It is not just a clumsy replica of the bulky remote        A lot to rethink

Hooked up the bdt220p updated the firmware set up wireless wifi After that checked out downloaded the app onto my galaxy note 2 Worked without a problem                 Great for night time use
