I like the app overall My only issue is that I have tried and tried and I am unable to leave reviews for the content that I have watched I have looked in settings I have clicked on the overall review NOTHING It s kinda irritating If you dont wish to review your content then there are no issues 4k is provided and you have the options to rent buy and download             Stephen Dagenhart

This is extremely glitchy Major stuttering issues and poor quality It has a problem on lots of Android devices and Customer Service is less than helpful Before they can forward your issue to an engineer who will look into your complaint at sone point over the next 2 days they will require your device model your internet provider your wifi make and model your wifi download speed and request that you install the app on an alternative device A poor product     Paul G

Shows that are being offered here are awesome to binge watch but the video player has got some bug It freezes the playback like 5 6 times in a single video The only way to escape freeze is to skip video by 10 seconds Sadly this is not a recent bug I have been a great fan of Amazon prime shows But the player keeps disappointing me from over an year Its useless if updates are meant to just fool around every week when something so critical has not been fixed in over an year     A Google user

Very hopeless app You don t have any option to forward video if you don t want to see unwanted content Also there is no option to choose picture quality like 480p 720p In this case if ur data speed is not good u cannot see video in properly If u want to download video it shows data size in GB Ideally it should be in MB     Vivek Deshpande

Started using Prime after they enabled Chromecast Good quality and decent collection of movies and web series The only reason I am giving 3 star is because the collection can be improved and above all there are time lags between audio and video when casted It corrects if you pause once and repeats there after This needs to be fixed             Dipankar Basak

Content is good but their are multiple problem in it AS today I downloaded 2 episodes of the Family Man and it is only playing in English and all the details that are on the app is showing multiple languages What is this even the content is not playing in the main language that it was shot in Please fix this or contact me regarding this issue One more thing is their any indian specific customer care department for prime video or not if yes then please contact me     Palkesh Gupta

Hands down the worst implemented streaming app of the big three Amazon has fantastic content but getting back to a show you re watching multitasking pretty much every aspect of going in and out of a stream is entirely inconsistent and frankly broken The design decisions are alright I blame the code which is just slightly above amateur If I was in charge of developing this app and I m not exaggerating I would fire the whole team They just aren t good     Cloel H

For the most part I like the app It works most of the time just occasionally requiring a device restart However one thing that does annoy me are the video trailers constantly served on starting the app and at the beginning of shows This is exasibated by the fact that you have to hit the X repeatedly to get rid of them and it s the same trailers over and over again                 John Hodgson Art

The streaming pauses automatically in between again and again and does not respond unless n until the video is seeked 10 sec forward which ruins the experience as the flow breaks and due to seeking the 10 sec get omitted Fix this issue as it is a major issue Another issue is that when switched to PIP mode there is no option to go back to full screen again Fix this too Also if possible provide an option to adjust the speed of video playback manually like 1 10x 1 25x etc         Abhishek Singhal

Used to be awesome Now with all these extra channels on there My prime video is cluttered with content and titles that I can t watch without paying an extra subscription I downloaded a movie locally to watch when I don t have WiFi last week Only to find it not available anymore unless I subscribe to one of these new channels ofc Amazon needs to let us hide these channels if we aren t interested rather then try to trick people into subscribing when trying to find something to watch     A F

In case of downloaded episode it s always in English audio only and we can t change audio so for other audio language we need to stream it online by deleting the episode Why is it so Audio file are much lighter and smaller than the actual video please focus on this issue     Sourabh Verma

Pretty slick app Very smooth operationally I would give it more stars if the search function had better filters to narrow down movie selection Casting to TV from mobile works great except subtitles are too small on TV If I cast from computer to TV the subtitles are big enough to read Forget about sending feedback I tried and the mailbox is full             Jerry George

Really nice app to watch movies and shows on the go on mobile The videos can be casted to Android TV which does not work every time I faced issues so many times while trying to cast it my android TV It would have been superb if they had the app for Android TV also                 Ashish Nawal

A quick heads up to the developers 1 Please redesign you seek forward buttons Nowadays every Smartphone has larger than 6 display thus this becomes irritating to tap on the forward buttons as this is so close and designed in the center of the display Inaccessible sometimes 2 Remove the character details window as it is useless and has no use of it in smoothing the overall viewing experience         MaddytheDude

Everything on the platform isnt all free and paid for with your monthly subscription Unlike Netflix where you pay a monthly few and you know everything on there is free The same cant be said about Amazon prime maybe one day that will be the case         Jared Medina

I am uable to stream anything on this app Very disappointed I am trying to use it on my Chromebook It installs just fine displays home and all the options for movies TV etc but when I pick something and hit the play arrow it goes black     Pat Rennert

The app works fairly well but as it hasn t been around as long it lacks some of the more intuitive features you might expect from a large company s streaming app I m sure future updates will fix some of the minor bugs It s also possible some of the problems are due to me still being on an LG G6             Cameron Maxwell

Plenty good but some mistakes leave a bit of room for improvement I ve had some problems with the UI not letting me skip through properly because the watch line doesn t want to show up When I use my headset I have issues with APV trying to stream video to it Idk what it s thinking there I m sure there are others but that s what I know                 Luna Enserric

EVERY time I open the app and start playing a dowloaded video it doesn t work It plays about 1 frame a second I need to close and reopen the app a few times skip to another part of the video and then go back to where I wanted to watch and only then does it play normally Every two weeks the app refuses to play any downloaded content until I restart my entire phone The app is designed poorly Very painful to download multiple eposodes at the same time unless you download the full season     Brandon D'Souza

GLITCHY video quality is iffy at best everything is so dark I can barely see unless I turn brightness absurdly high often goes totally blurry captions are often not the right words and never timed right leaving app can take me to the wrong place in what I was watching sometimes by a full season often starting episode over and losing my place worst of all it interferes with my wifi connection disconnects will only reconnect if I close app just want to watch the shows I m paying for     Harley

This app is a big bug for all MI phones It doesn t allow to download films Though it shows the film is getting downloaded it will stop at 100 for hours together and the download will never be successful one You guys can never fix this issue     Rakesh Chandra

Ads everytime I boot it up sometimes the DRM has issues and I have to redownload part of my video I ve previously downloaded Its not a big section like just the last precentage but since I download videos for areas I go to that have no real signal it s more than a minor annoyance     Adam Weant

I would rate it higher if i didn t get black screens after ads play have to back out of the app and refresh to get it back watching Fringe Also the app goes back to the main screen if you do anything even answer a simple text message would be ok if it also refreshed so that you re back where you left off If you forget to refresh before reloading what you re watching you have to play catch up with where you were and likely watch ads again Super annoying         D. Dear Amazon Prime Everytime I am trying to view any movie series it is getting stuck after every 2 3 minutes and then I have go back and resume the video It is getting repeated throughout the movie First I thought it might be for my slow net connection but the same thing is happening for downloaded videos as well where net connection is not at all needed Please fix this problem         Sudip Das

My only sources of comparison are Netflix DTV Apple and Google s media services Amazon Prime Video is by far the most user friendly and has the best GUI layout with useful Actor info u0026 photos and much more about the movie Great trivia All this and the app rarely freezes or has any annoying problems that sometimes requires a device restart Netflix is a near second DTV is streaming on a device is aggravatingly slow when browsing and costs much more for what you get                     Erick Bourgault
