the app does its job quite well and the steps are all quite well documented on the website Unfortunately there are quite a few of them and due to the variability in installation it is quite easy to get lost However this is not a problem as support is incredible I was quite impressed by it I exchanged several emails in a single days and was able to convert all my chats                     Fabio Altomare

lt s so important to be able to transfer your chat history from one operating system to another especially since Windows phone is now dead lt s great to have such s program available but you must follow every instruction very carefully and it is time consuming l had issues trying to retrieve internal backup after reinstalling the official Whatsapp app but got tremendous support from Nicola and all is working fine now                     Sharon Millington

This app is an absolute Godsend to those of us who have been stuck on Windows Phone because of a desire not to abandon WhatsApp messages Be under no illusion the migration process is long cumbersome and quite technically involved but this is NOT the fault of the developer It is a factor of Facebook abandoning Windows Phone users and Microsoft insisting on locking down a dead platform If you do run into problems the developer could not be more decent and helpful Highly recommended                     Scott McClenaghan

Excellent customer support Worth buying it if you want to use WhatsApp on your new Android phone with exactly the same data you had on your Windows phone chat history starred messages audio messages etc A word of advice read the FAQ in detail before using the app and ask them questions if there s something you don t understand or are unsure about The procedure expects you to be tech savvy and they provide prompt support if you need help Pay special attention to the directories Don t confuse like me WazzapMigrator and WinWazzapMigrator If you follow the instructions it works like a charm                     Ignacio Errico

Poor The app description fails to mention that Windows Phone 10 backups of WhatsApp are encrypted and therefore unreadable The website s instructions to resolve this mislead the user into believing that it s trivial In fact it requires a significant amount of hacking into some WP models that I was unable to achieve     Daniel Braithwaite

Saved my life although I have a few comments since this is a paid app Which you really deserve it should be easier than that It was a bit time consuming for me although I have pretty good IT experience but there are tooooo many steps to follow add to this that I had to backup my WhatsApp to onedrive from the 950XL and then restore it on my old Lumia 930 which luckily I still have and kickin then crack open it to copy the file the other drawback is not getting the media back                 Karim E.E. I was delaying migrating from Windows mobile to Android because I knew that I would likely lose 6 years of valuable WhatsApp history I could delay no longer and this app was exactly what I needed This app is extremely worthwhile and simplifies a most complicated issue The greatest value is in the responsive and caring background service provided by Nicola the developer Support is a priority here and it is provided and documented well My migration was from a Lumia 650 Win to a Lumia 532 Win and finally it all came together in a new Nokia 4 2 Android Pie I took time to read all the information that it provided by both the app and also the developers most helpful website I had to be methodical and careful and set aside enough time to get it right I am not super technical but I was successful first time 31 000 chat u0026 2 900 photos videos documents u0026 voicemails all migrated perfectly It was super important to get all that data migrated especially with media The end result has been 100 perfect I believe that Nicola u0026 his app have provided such a valuable solution and I just wanted to extend my gratitude Kindest regards                     Michael Paterson

I am happy to now have my 3 years Whatsapp history transferred from a Lumia 930 to Android It did require quite some time and effort for the whole process and I had to require the help from support for the media hint media in WhatsApp and Camera Roll folders should be placed directly in the Media folder not as entire subfolders but the support is very reactive and it was definitely worth it Thanks                     A Google user

After several attempts I eventually got my WhatsApp chats with media voice recordings videos pictures etc copied from my Microsoft 950 mobile phone Folder size is slightly smaller so there may have been some media items that didn t copy but certainly it managed 95 I did have to transfer my WhatsApp from my 950 mobile to a Nokia Microsoft 930 mobile as I understand it doesn t work directly Copying from my 950 to 930 was painless However took several attempts from 930 to Android                 A Google user

Thank goodness for this app I have now been able to transfer 4 years of messages from my Nokia Lumia 735 to my Samsung galaxy J6 It s a very long winded process and not straightforward but support is on hand to help you every step of the way and they were fantastic My only suggestion would be to make a video of how to transfer everything step by step as there is one online of how to do it from iPhone to Android but not windows to Android                     jde9488
