So after some use of light DJ app with Lifx bulbs I found that the app works almost flawlessly The only problem i encountered running 17 bulbs at once was that sometime they lag a little bit But I feel like this is more of network problem than an app problem Support is great This is definitely worth paying the money for This does not seem to be an app that is geared towards the average 2 bulb consumer This is designed for high light show and it does that very well                     Mike Glenn

Its not really that different from other hue apps A couple cool features like the drum pad like feature that changes the lights on demand but it didnt change them to the right colors Id hit red and the light would turn green Also you cant control which light turns on its just kinda random The 80 40 5 price plan is kinda steep especially when there are free apps out there that are out there that are comparable Id pay 20 30 for this app at most and definitely not monthly             Adam Clark

Awesome app should be 5 Stars unfortunately with abysmal pricing that should be less than 1 Star I am not interested in any type of subscription just to manage my lights definite no go In terms of a full version like 5 Euros just as any other good premium app would be fair and an instant buy I would be willing to pay 10 Euros just because i like the functionality a lot and i do appreciate your great work Seems unlikely to happen though a shame it would be great for New Year s In conclusion 3 stars seem fair to those few who are actually willing to invest their money in light flashes Kudos for your work though             lucker#1 's

Good app has decent functionality I was going to give it 3 stars with the negative being the ridiculous price tag This app is good but it s nowhere near worth what both the monthly or one time price is However what dropped it down to two stars was this apps premium advert popping up on top of other apps I d be using snapchat or smth and LightDJ would suddenly open on the upgrade page Insane never do that I d buy it for a reasonable price but the current cost is nothing short of a joke         Callie Phorek

The app is nice surely has more functions and options for music synced light show on smart lamps than other apps that I ve seen in the Google play Makes very nice light show and effects on my 60 panel Nanoleaf Aurora and my 6 Lifx RGB bulb But sadly the support for Lifx tile are pretty limited the app sees all 5 panels as one and control them as a single unit So all 5 panels flash and flicker in the same time and with same color brightness which looks pretty lame Wished if the app could                 Aryan Zirak

You do understand there are better apps for a fraction of what you are trying to get from people with this app The customization range is indeed higher than any other app in the market kind of as the developer likes to announce However quantity does not equals quality The idea of buying an app is to make your life easier while enjoying its functionality You can customize this app till the day you die will still not get the music sync that other simplified apps get Getting more clients is by no means necesarily a correlation of features it ll rather be an indication that there are more owners of the 3 products compatible with the app     Jean Lezcano

I can tell that the concept behind this app is great at heart But that s right where it ends Developers like the developer of this app that value their product significantly higher than its real world worth and force people into a subscription model for an app to blink lights on sound cues is just ridiculous I m a software developer and to be honest this app should really be a commuity style app heck even open source The fact that this app is so predatory is the reason why I m refusing to pay for it If this app was a 5 one off purchase that would be the extent of its value I can t believe the developer can reasonably expect people to pay 120 for this The fact of the matter is that complex and high licensing fees serve nothing but to annoy the very crowd you re trying to win a purchase from This app almost seems to have the licensing complexity of an enterprise Microsoft SQL license which is an absolute joke     Sean McCullough

So far as I can tell this app just makes your lights blink in preset patterns unless you want to sit there and tap your phone Otherwise the pulses and strobes don t sync up well at all with whatever music is playing Kind of pointless Thinking I must be missing something I went ahead and purchased the deluxe version for 7 99 through the app but still haven t received any additional features The kicker I was on Amazon looking at Lifx bulbs and saw the very same version of the app available for 3 99 Avoid this one iLightShow is a way better app for cheaper         Michael Quirk

Confused I paid for scenemaker and it made no change Plays the scene for 15 or so secs before moving to the next scene What did I pay for I thought I could create my own scenes for that money I want a refund please             Nigel Roberts

The app needs to store the lifx bulbs connected so they are not forgotten each time it s booted Sometimes I have 2 bulbs sometimes 6 very rarely the 16 Litrally I can close the app Reopen and have a different set of bulbs No other apps have this problem You need a scan button to ping the network to find the devices and then store the data the bulbs start with a certain mac address and even expose them self s as lifx As the bulbs tend to be on all the time they very rarely get a new ip so storing this is no issue Worst comes to the worst use the lifx api to grab the bulb ip ect use that This is the only lifx app I have that forgets the bulbs on each start It s actually not usable in its current state as the bulbs change It s not practical to go and cycle the lights on and off when wanting to use this app as previously suggested and that doesn t work anyway Just have a network scan and store the IP s and this will be a 5 app Just give a bit more love to lifx instead of Philips Thanks     Kevin Iles

BEST LIFX APP TO DATE I have tried many controllers for my LifX collection Without mentioning things like IFTTT u0026 Stringify this is a VERY user friendly interface not intrusive with ads I paid to unlock it and everything works great just as you would expect and my favorite is the Scene Maker bc it s fluid themes and not just static colors 5 STARS                     Christopher Bee
