This app is exactly what I wanted It cuts off the unwanted calls from my blacklist BEFORE my phone rings Plus its super easy for me to add numbers to my blacklist too I ve had other apps where my phone would ring one time before it was cut off and where I had to put in the numbers manually Needless to say I got rid of those apps I wish there was a way to put the area code and the prefix of the number so any calls fitting those first 6 numbers would be blocked too No popup ads                     Sharlee Glenn

Just wanted an app to block calls from anyone that is not in my contacts list Mr Number used to do that well but then they locked that one simple feature behind their subscription service So I deleted Mr Number This app Call Blocker does just what I need it to do Simple as that On occasion if a lot of apps are running in the background you may hear a quick ring or see a call pop up But then it s gone I m pleased with the app overall                     Joe S.

The app was excellent until thr last update Now it s working good again I didn t like the change of seeing my entire call log in the app It s still a good app but I would like my call list removed I finally deleted app This app doesn t UPDATE THE CALL LIST after changes are made and the caller IS added to your contacts You can update by going into area where app data can be deleted but you lose the info of your blacklist and whitelist     Star Caraway

great app as far not being interupted but what good does it do to block unknown numbers or anyone not on my contact list if they can just leave a voice mail that is not a blocked call it is just turning the ringer off i can do the same thing by setting the do not disturb feature on the phone             Joe Schoenborn

I ve been using this app for a few years now and it s the perfect solution to blocking those unwanted calls Block all calls except those in your contacts Any callers with anything of importance to say will leave a voicemail message Expecting a call from a calendar from whom you don t know the number It s easy to toggle this feature off for a bit Otherwise if you have visual voicemail it ll be a cinch to weed out the unwanted stuff                     Neil Strawbridge

It seems to work okay Still in an evaluation stage But it definitely seems to be keeping nuisance calls away There is a circle in front of each phone number and in the circle is either the letter of the person who called or the first digit of the area code I m not sure what the purpose of that is                 Marty Lustig

Lightweight and very effective Without call blocking I would be getting several robo calls each day early morning late at night interrupting while I m at work etc I set this app so that anyone who isn t in my contacts gets the option to leave a voicemail for me and I haven t had to deal with a single robo call in months                     David Tilson

This app is great I only get calls from numbers in my contact list and everybody else goes directly to voicemail UPDATE The lastest Android update caused this app not to work anymore It s supposed to send all calls from numbers not in my contact list straight to voice mail It does not all numbers ring though as if the app doesn t exist I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn t work I emailed the support and still have not received a response I ll soon be deleting this app         james cassese

Simple but very effective I ve been having a hard time finding a Call Blocking app that did one simple task block calls based off of area code This app does it perfectly I ve been getting a ton of robo calls from telemarketers and it s satisfying to finally get peace and quiet The app shows you what calls were blocked along with date and time of each incident It also doesn t force you to make an account or pay for Premium service after several days of use                     Ivan Mironov

This app doesn t work on my Galaxy running Android 9 Calls come in with a space between the country code and area code As a result I can t block with begins with since the app won t accept a space as a character Even though I make sure to add it the app takes it out The app won t recognize or match my wildcard entries since it needs the space to match     Cody Stokes

I don t leave reviews often but I had to on this one This app has done an outstanding job on blocking so many unwanted calls just within the few days I ve had it installed I rarely get one that makes it through When it does you don t hear it ring which let s me continue my work through the day It s worth the 0 99 to upgrade and remove the ads The others are garbage this app is a keeper                     Chloe Watson

Like A Google User who commented used to work great but unfortunately after the last update it now lets calls through that should be blocked I am having very much the same problem It used to be highly effective in sending all calls from numbers not saved in my contacts straight to voice mail Now the log claims that it blocked calls that have definitely rung through In fact I don t see any evidence of calls in the log that it blocked that didn t ring through What changed Is it something Google altered that broke it In its current state is basically not useful at all to me as it is failing to do the one and only thing I really want it to do FWIW I m on Verizon running all the latest updates     David Lawrence

ive been using this for 3 months works perfectly without any other junk these free apps generally force on you no ads no messages nothing ive tried others nothing worked to block telemarketers this always works if the caller isnt in your contact list the phone doesnt ring no notice nothing simple but the caller can leave a message so if its a doctor or something urgent they can still leave a message also the app keeps a log you can review pretty cool app                     Stevesworld

this app has potential to be really good if fully implemented but some features are not such as an outgoing message Can only send an outgoing message if there is an incoming call and you physically select the option to fully implemented this option should be execute automatically on any call that is blacklisted as it is it is just like any other call blocking app             Robert

Has a test I blocked a number and the app did block the phone from ringing but unfortunately it goes to voicemail then I got a message to check my voicemail and it s a waste of time so the app doesn t work the app should answer the call and then hang up automatically and not go to voicemail They used to be a great app that did that it was called dead to me unfortunately it s not available anymore but it would pick up the call and drop the call instantly you didn t even hear a ring or VM     Bobby Laskowski

Doesn t always work Tried to block an entire exchange and sometimes I think when the CID includes a name it lets the call through Also you can t whitelist a partial number Like for all numbers at your office But it s better than others             Jeff W

This app will block the phone call but will not block if anyone decides to leave a message I have yet to find an app that completely blocks the calls from even going through and this has nothing to do with the carrier The software for these apps needs to be better higher quality software that stops the phone call from even being registered to be answered on the phone         Noel E Norton

So simple it s ridiculous Able to finally block all incoming calls that aren t listed in my Contacts list Can disable that feature for incoming expected calls I don t have the number for Blocked way more incoming calls within the first few days of having this appt installed over one I paid for last year I m considering buying the ad free version                     Angela Brennan
