The RSS podcast & YouTube player is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new RSS podcast & YouTube player app version 4.3.1.9 has been updated on 2014-01-21. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: 2.1 and up

Lately there have been 2 disturbing changes One was that one day it just decided to ignore the on wifi only and downloaded a bunch of podcasts while I was driving to work and hence made me go over my BW limit This hasn t been repeated but I am always wary now Lastly and probably worst of all it s clearly monitoring all my incoming and outgoing dialled numbers It asked for new permissions and I gave them but now every time I receive a call I get a little on screen notification a Toast popup in Android SDK parlance in Korean which ends with the number that just called me When I dial it I get the same messages but it says null at the end in place of the phone number Why would it need to monitor my phone calls I ve used this app for years Other than the above it was mostly reliable for my simple needs although it needed features like a max number of downloads or a max amount of storage to use I need to periodically delete old episodes         Corey Spink

This used to a great app but it crashes every time So use it despite reinstalling it Shame         C J

After using this app for years it seems to now be broken Podcast lists don t update downloads stick or crash without any notification the latest bug which for me is the final straw is that playing a podcast while downloading another in the same list seems to permanently over write the next episode in the list with the one you re listening to which prevents knowing what the missing one is as well as downloading it I imagine this is OK if you download them all in order but I tend to dip in and out fairly randomly and losing the list is a pita It s a shame because the app has been simple and effective for so long         Mike Burgess

As mentioned by others this thing s been crashing lately Finally upgraded from Galaxy S4 to an S8 and now there s like at least 5 podcasts I used to enjoy that I can t get crashes or episodes are 0mb and won t download If no improvement I may search out a new player which saddens me as this one s fun whimsical and until recently really terrific             Larry Rogers

If you are impressed by cute buttons then maybe this app is for you but if you want a feature rich podcast app look elsewhere This app has no features beyond finding and playing all the same podcasts that every other app has Even the most basic of extras like adjustable playback speed is missing     Scott Kelly

I stumbled upon this because I was looking for a podcast app that could import RSS feeds This does so seamlessly and it s surreal whimsical functional interface brings me constant delight Its formidable library is also unprecedented Rat Poison feels like it is for me and engaging with it makes me feel more interested and authentic in exploring the medium I would recommend this app to anyone who likes podcasts but doesn t see themself as an Ira Glass hole                     THE BEST PODCAST APP Bridget Rodman

I ve been using Ratpoison for about 2 years now and it has become my go to for downloading podcast It s fun to use the podcast radio sometimes too The pause play button sticks occasionally but is easily fixed by restarting the app                 I like it Jason Williams
