The BitTorrent Beta is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new BitTorrent Beta app version 1.34 has been updated on 2014-01-24. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: 2.1 and up

Works pretty well though it can make even high end devices lag sometimes The one gripe i have and the reason i knocked 2 stars off is the latest update removed the pro upgrade i bought and there is no purchase restore option so the only way to get it back seems to be to buy it again Not cool EDIT recently redownloaded the app and I m not sure if there was an update or my phone just messed up the first time but the problem appears to have been resolved and my pro upgrade has returned                     Jason Hall

The new update is no improvement It adds nothing and removes valuable features We can no longer see the speed of the download We can no longer batch delete The new design is cramped and amateurish Want on earth didn t you just leave a good and well functioning app alone In my judgement the app goes from 5 stars to a generous 3 Very disappointed             Michael Gallagher

This latest update is a nightmare I can t pause my torrents in batches I can t see the seeders or the upload download speeds among other things I so much regret having paid the Pro version years ago if you guys are oversimplifying everything in illogical ways Guess it s time to look for a better app for my torrenting needs     Elsa Villalta

Used to be great and I often use this app for entertainment and education purposes now it s nothing more than a failed product every now and then I receive problems stating that every time I try to download a torrent and add it a message appears called failed to add torrent every torrent out there did the same and I am not afraid to rate every single one of them as 2 stars I would gladly change my rating if it fixes this problem immediately         Renz Gonzales

Look first of all I love this new idea you came up with the dark mode is nice but on the other hand the UI It is now not more easy to use per say The before update was still easy to use you can easily delete it all or seeing your download speed without in need to still click on the file itself Now I m going to give this 2 5 star if I can Sadly I cannot Ads are no worries I would totally watch them to support you Would be better the old UI with dark mode         R1SE AND F4LL

The app is massive 45 mb and has useless features such as a music player that never goes away from the notification bar no matter how hard you try You cannot add trackers you cannot control the theme The app is clunky and slow to respond to inputs no I m not using a very old phone And most annoyingly everytime I open the app to check progress on torrents I am forced to watch a 30 second ad and if I don t I can t see anything It s is really bad Even the UI is terrible compared to PC     8lec Roe

I m fine with everything the free version offers The ads are okay I don t mind watching them to support developers The thing that is really annoying me is the removal of multi select so I can remove the large list of torrents I allowed to seed on my device after a couple weeks Like before the last update I had no issues Why compromise a UX design that worked for aesthetics that just make the app look like 80 of apps in the play store Time to look for a new app     Omar Salie

The new update is very bad It has made it quite difficult for user to do normal things And moreover I have paid for the pro version and it s not getting activated and I have to use the free version after paying for the paid version And there reply is we don t know when it will get fixed     Abhishek Datta

Can t remove files from the download list once they are downloaded since the update There is no option for it I have tried everything Can no longer see the download speed And intact I don t really feel I have anything special in this update apart from and new bin liner for my trash can     Robert Brennocks

Don t even bother with this trash Large downloads like to freeze then undo all their own progress and jump back down to 0B even if you ve just previously completed several GB Doesn t refresh either and filled with annoying ads Overall super unpleasant experience Avoid like the plague     Braeden Chappell

Honestly I have been using bitTorrent for years and it s great but the last update was awful the download speed isn t as good as it was and the new graphic design is complicated I was very despondent             Abdullah Aladimi

This new version is really bad The old version was much easy compared to the current version I can t group pause or delete I can t even group select can t see the download speed This is a real nightmare I really regret updating I see nothing good with the new new version even the UI sucks big time     Thabang Motshele

I paid for a cool slick design to help manage my torrents With this new imagining of the design into clunk city i will be attempting to find another app to manage my torrents until theres an option to choose the old view Its just that bad         Daniel Rhind

I had upgraded to ad free in December 2018 i reinstalled the app on my new device it s showing ads and asking me to buy the pro version again In my google play payment history it s showing i have made a purchase last year in December Fix this issue ASAP I m very disappointed n feel like I ve been cheated by this developer     Zerocool93

New update is awful the settings are very complex and the appearance of the app is also below average we are not able to watch the torrent speed display and the torrents cannot be selected for delete together The new update is th worst I ve been using BitTorrent for past 4 years and new updates were sometimes good or bad but this one is shot i need the old update back or I m seriously switching to another application     Parth Jethi

Unfriendly user interface Couldn t pause torrent individually by tapping it couldn t see the status of seed and peer What s with the new interface changes Even exiting closing the app are hassle too Anything else it just fine as before It s just made everything hassle to navigate         Kenneth Sim

Rated 5 star previously As i formatted my phone and tried to install Bitorrent it shows that i don t have pro version even previously i had purchased it Then i clicked buy thinking it will not be charged But play store charged me again And even now i don t have pro version even after paying twice Seller refund me the second payment and make me available the pro version I have emailed seller 4 days ago he doesn t replied till now Very bad     Aqib Ahmed

I just took the time to say how annoying the ads are and how this torrent sometimes downloads at 100 kb s even though I have a 40 Mb s internet connection Dont mind downloading this app Try something else     Joan Redding

So I had the pro version but got a new phone and now I only have the standard version and is asking me to pay for it again The new layout is way more confusing and the menus only work when in landscape View for some of the options     David Smith

Dismal upgrade No longer can you choose multiple torrents to delete or pause You have to open each one separately No longer will the torrent automatically move to your video player you will have to look at your video through the torrent WITH DATA ON     Jaco Tromp

So dissapionted I adjusted my default folder and the file downloaded OK but can t locate the damned thing The folder I created dosen t show up and a File Manager search turns up bupkiss for both file and folder Also short of Force Stop there s no way to turn the app off I ll watch my file on my itty bitty phone screen and just delete uninstall everything     Robert Rodier

I used to like BitTorrent enough to get the paid version As soon as I got the paid version the app started to crash and downloads failed Apparently the free version is better than the paid guys     Vipul Saini

i purchased this app in march of 2018 when app automatically updated i loss my pro version that i paid 2 99 for Now that it updated it wants another 2 99 from me im very upset So buyer beware If you purchase the upgraded pro version You may lose your purchase whan app updates     Chris Pavlick

The new design is much worse more difficult to pause or select multiple torrents no view of the download speed and not a single new option like more accurate control of the download speed for example Fix it and I ll give you 5 stars for sure         mohammed aboelghar
