Uninstalled almost immediately after first run due to a confusing message while navigating to an external sd card something along the lines of Android will delete all files in this folder when Total Commander is uninstalled Make sure you have root permissions Sorry I may be clueless but I don t want a software that potentially wipes out an entire drive unintentionally or not I uninstalled by removing the sd card first     Faredoon Irani

Cracking app Best file manager i have found for android Only issue i noticed was when copying from lan it sometimes does not copy the file Simply delete the empty file and copy again and it works It is rare that this issue occurs and could be the lan and not the app to be fair                     Dan Hunt

One of my favorite apps ever on Android as well as on my PCs for many years Why only 4 stars There are frequent issues with restricted write access to my ext SD card Xiaomi Max2 Android 7 Usually I have full write access to the ext SD card via TC but more often than not it doesn t work anymore after a reboot and I have to reboot my device a number of times until it works again To the dev please solve this and I ll give you 5 stars gladly                 Ken K.

Very cool app since Win95 But now there is a problem on some devices with folder renaming After renaming a directory it s seen by the app as a file Others file managers see the folder without problem as folder with a new name I have 3 Android devices Such problem is only for Xiaomi Redmi 4X Android 7 1 2                     Maick Qu

Nice App but i found a problem which is very annoying this problem is happening in my phone whenever i rename a folder in my sd card that folder bcomes unaccessible 0kb file of no extension bcos of this problem i lost most of my data so I uninstalled it this happening on my mi note 4 moblile Kindly correct the problem                 Bittu Jaspal

I have lost so much files to this app whenever I try to move files from one folder to another in my external hdd via otg through Microsoft exFat NTFS for usb by Paragon app I will get an error message saying that the file already exists while it s not and if I tap cancel or skip the file will automatically disappear to no where I have lost many files to this incident caused by this app and I am totally dissatisfied and so angry with the developer of this app     Ebuka Kingsley

absolutely amazing for pc but for android whenever i want to rename a file the options to cut and paste etc appears right on top of the file name so i can t move the select text handles indescribaly annoying have to give 1 star for that it s f ing retarded     none none

Don t use this app if you don t want to lose all your data All 400GB worth of data in my External HDD got corrupted and I had to spend 200 on professional services to get it all back If only there was zero stars for this piece of garbage app     Ross Tan

It s a great app easy powerful everything works right lots of features never crashes a great time saver for those who work directly with files and directories on Android systems The app has some features that work only on a rooted device If you try to change file permissions using TC it will silently fail So a notification might be nice for unrooted devices                     Hank Mortar

bought total commander on windows because i needed an efficient way of accessing and moving files around it goes above and beyond then i install it for android and it meets every need i had there as well five stars forever                     ace chaos

Right now I ve got two external drives connected to my retired S4 using a USB 3 hub and an OTG cable That s pretty cool The downside is the app moves a file from one folder to another at a very slow pace Shouldn t moving be instant                     Scott Johnson

I used for years but on Android 9 Pie don t read properly files multiple errors in reading files Another issue it s that can t sea photos on zip archive only the file names So I upgraded my phone to X plore app much versatile and also free             Dany C.

i always have to trudge thru the best file explorer on a reinstall or a new phone ever since Astro and Es Explorer sucked i seem to keep ending up on this one which is good or Root Browser either classix or the remake i think this one is what does all what i want Only downside is the plugins havent been updated in a while and looking at the changelog this app itself though still the best unless i go load an old copy of the other two which d be the same situation                     Rue U

Best file manager for Android Works a lot like the Windows version which is a good thing It doesn t have a flashy UI but instead focuses on features which I wish more apps would do With plugins it has also replaced dedicated apps for cloud storage and LAN SMB access makes it so I don t have to plug in my phone to transfer files from my home PC                     Ryan Fletcher

Doesn t detect swipes properly If you swipe clearly but not far enough then jt just goes back to current tab I found it unusable due to that since I repeatedly had to retry every time i wanted to switch     Alex x

Great program Copy u0026 Paste is a bit obscure tap u0026 hold on the top directory bar to bring up Paste and SFTP plugin defaults to a non standard setting which prevent proper communication with many devices check your settings but otherwise this program works without spying or unnecessary garbage bloat                     dino Snake

I ve always liked using total commander as my file manager However now that I ve been on the Android Q beta for a while it seems Total commander can t get the right permissions so I can t access any of my files with it I hope this gets fixed soon because it s currently unusable             Diego Garcia

This is the only app which helped me in extracting images out of zip while preserving the timestamps Other apps i used change the date to today causing my gallery to fill up with old images Thanks btw why don t you guys change add plugins to more plugins or something else if that s a problem                     Harshit Godha
