If you are Android owner, you now can download Stellarium Mobile for 1,99 € from Google Play. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version Varieswithdevice has been released on 2014-01-15. For ensuring consistency with the device you should take into account the following app compatibility information: 2.2 and up

I enjoy the app but have repeatedly been charged for it following my initial purchase edit However after listing my concerns here I got an immediate response and offer to correct the problem I am as impressed with the customer service as I am with the app As a result of their quick response and professionalism I am not requesting a refund of the additional charges It is refreshing to have someone stand by their product this way                     Denita S.
It s a good app for navigating the stars I would use it more but the softkey navbar won t go away So while I m at a dark site and open the app my night vision is completely lost with a solid white bar at the bottom of the app I have to cover the bar the best I can with one hand and operate the app with the other not ideal to say the least Hopefully they can fix this btw the phone is the Galaxy S10 if the developers want to look into it                 NightF0x -Eve
I recommend it because it doesn t require a lot of memory on my phone and my phone s space it at a premium I wanted to use Stellarium Mobile Plus but to much memory required And Facebook updates to often and its memory is increasing so you would have to have astronomy apps that use little memory storage If Facebook would just stop updating so often                     Alan Dino
I can t imagine stargazing without it Every time I go out to view the sky with my telescope I always make sure and bring Stellarium I put it in red light mode before I head outside the GPS function is wonderful to find your spot in the sky and can help direct you exactly where you want to be viewing I will also pull it up to see if there are any DSO s in the near area where I m viewing I also use it in real time to track the ISS when it flies over it is always perfectly synced up                     Lloyd Christmas
Wonderful overall look but cumbersome Forgets all your setting up every time its closed only thing I found persistent was city country good thing as took 9 tries to enter it So every time you start it you must restore the many menu choices zoom time date if not current time etc etc to mostly the very same as you did last every time             Pat m
Have used this app for many years I love it it is so useful for seeing what is currently in the sky and for seeing when in the future different planets or constellations will be visible I agree with a previous comment that I would prefer the date and time to be smaller when you are skipping through time Other than that though it is great and quite easy to use                     james Moore
My favorite free planetarium app for both Android and Desktop One feature I miss from the PC version is the ability to set camera sensors and telescopes lenses for framing astrophotos I would buy the pro version of this app if it included that feature                 Taj Tiger
I have the paid version of the app When I enable the live tracking icon to be responsive to the position and movement of my phone it seems to wobble a little bit won t budge off the southern sky             Abe Schreiber
It seems there is a difference between the phone app version and the laptop version that I have Illustrations of the starlore maps from different countries are missing Such as the Romania starlore illustrations are available on my laptop but not on the phone will these be added later It would be nice to have illustrations of the starlore from all the countries you have featured                 Uncoded Reality
great pocket sized planetarium app the only thing that steals half a star of the well deserved 5 is the planet textures is there a way to have less over exposed planet textures so you can actually see the face of the planet and not a bright white blob especially during night time this feature is really usefull as any speck of white can easily mess with our dark sight adaptation thank you                 Mihai Rusie
Out of multiple similar apps I tried this one outclasses the other ones easily in terms of functions design and ease of use Very nice work                     Patrick Weckler
Worked fine for awhile Didn t use it for a while Now it doesn t seem to work like it used to Doesn t point in correct directions and I can t find stuff             Nancy H
Nice app but unfortunately is not accurate to my location compared to a number of other star map apps I have on my phone which are all spot on The little arrow on the map showing my location is saying I live way off the east coast of Australia out in the ocean Is there a way to fix this             winman14may
I Love it Great work maybe add an option to fastforward time like x2 or a long press on the button in the date u0026 time setting                     Zjefke Vanelslande
Apparently the sun rises at 13 15 in Cairo Egypt on the 7th of Feb 2020 Thanks for the quick response I ve been searching the app for option to change the time zone but can t find it Shouldn t the time zone change automatically with the location chosen I don t see the use of having my own time displayed under a far away location Under Location I only see Use GPS Latitude Longitude and Name City Then the world map No UTC offset toggle there that i can see             Rudmer Hoekstra
Excellent software to accurately display a realistic naked eye or binocular Sky View of what s up tonight Easy to use and very well suited to its main purpose of showing good likenesses of the naked eye constellations visible at a particular latitude and a particular time Note this is not the right tool if you wish to accurately locate Deep Sky objects                     A Google user
brilliant app not too dissimilar from desktop great for when on hols And developer top marks for not having any stupid permissions strange to have two app though esp as both are paid still 5 stars                     damian regan
Not sure if this is the app I was looking for I ve used Stellarium on my PC before and I could ve sworn it had the ability to attach my Telescope and various eye pieces and show me what my field of view would look like through my eyepiece But after paying to download this app on my Android tablet in hopes of getting the same functionality as what I get in my PC so far I m unable to see where I can add my Telescope eyepieces camera etc I think I ve just wasted a few bucks Sigh             I.M Weasel
Brilliant app for use at home or travel Plan your observing or imaging run months in advance                     Stephen Nield
This app is extremely easy intuitive and well designed Priceless for identifying constellations and locating targets for viewing in the night sky A I STRONGLY recommend this app                     Oliver Rock
Edit After about an hour of just leaving the app open and restarting my phone it has worked and has been a pleasure to use Sorry I did not update earlier I did not know how                     Gunnar Wye-Rodney
Very good app for research I m lovin it Somehow it is not working on gyro mode on my Xperia L2 But this might be a phone issue                     Daniel Pincu
The app has a well designed functional and esthetic GUI has enough information about objects and is stable What I would like to see in next releases would be improved handling of sensor positioning when pointing a device directly upwards the map gets confused around the zenith and starts to rotate and flip perhaps a workaround to overcome this pitfall of relying solely on polar coordinates and to stabilise the map is needed                 A Google user
Reduced to 1 stars for developer behavior Having paid for this app it s very annoying to see that instead of improving it or offering an upgrade they ve simply taken our feedback added the features to a new app and they re telling us all to purchase it again at 5 times the price Still a nice simple star map More accurate than most and plenty of content for the casual star gazer Definitely needs option to stop screen timing out AR option would be nice addition     A Google user
bed that the app is capable of Augmented Reality Vision and it is exactly works in that mode I really enjoy it I wanted to try yours different people diffetent vision just to compare I gave you 3 Stars in order you will describe your app correctly so people wouldn t get confused what they are paying for I d suggest app works Like Augmented Reality             Garen Avanesyan
Sensor function doesn t work constantly seeing South as point of focus cannot view either direction now matter how far i twist my phone otherwise good app using Google Pixel 3             Anton Kossmann
Needs to be more detailed and updated especially that I paid for this one and just downloaded a few one and that one was way more up to date and advanced I could just speak into the mic and ask where the big dipper was and it would highlight the stars and have a arrow directing you what way to look this app doesn t even recognize the name big dipper or highlight the stars of the big dipper I like the app just think of you re gonna charge people it could be a little more advanced             A Google user
This is a great app with lots of features the freehand mode is amazing                     Adrian Orlowski
Took me a little while to figure everything out it gets technical but I find it very useful I use it on PC Tablet u0026 now Phone If you love looking up at the night sky then this app is right up your alley Also it s very spot on Thanks u0026 Keep up the good work                     Trent Costello
Excellent app simple to use very friendly and veey close to the desktop application which fir me is a plus keep on the good work                     Claudio Nunez
Hi I will update my review if I can figure out what has gone wrong with the app in the past few days It was working perfectly and I totally loved it but it suddenly stopped showing the correct direction I aim for Would installing and reinstalling the app fix it If I do that do I need to pay the new subscription I would pay it again if I knew that it would fix it Other than that my compass calibration seems to be correct on Google maps I have an Samsung S7 Thanks for the help                 Luis Enrique Vargas
Wow I ve used other star finding software both on my phone and my laptop but this does everything I want plus additional stuff I won t be lugging my laptop around for its planetarium now that I have it all in my phone Totally worth paying for I m set now                     A Google user
Awesome astro app Shows everything you d want to know for a given time and location and can be changed to any time location The one drawback is it shows only that no projections for future past events ie Sun Moon rise set times etc                     Greg Z.
absolutely the best especially the ancient starlore designations for ex you can see the ancoent navaho mayan indoasia constellations norce nepal aborigni many more set up to mag 9 every object point and name distance etc even track every sattelite                     William Bray
This app has an unacceptable deep sky database It only plots NGC IC messier objects It fails to plot tear jerking beautiful objects like dark nebula cr melotte king do Berkley and do open clusters This is not a serious tool for the deepsky observer It is only a tool Please install a deepsky database         Shawn Grant
This app works quite well for finding stars and deep sky objects                     Micaiah Weaver
There are so many options to customize that it can surely fulfill your needs                     William Neagle
