I hadn t seen a need to use this but now Garmin Express no longer stores a local chippy of your fit files this is a perfect solution as you can easily export to your sd card It works very well with my 910XT and is great for those of us with older watches                     Jonathan Colledge

works well with Samsung a5 and garmin 910 I have to go into flight mode first then open app and connect to get it to work without problems I think this is an ant issue with my phone not the app                     Peter S

Great app that does what it says with my Galaxy S8 and Forerunner 410 Would give it 5 stars if it had configs to allow 1 setup of a default upload target so it had one click upload 2 a bulk upload of a few runs rather than one at a time 3 auto delete of a run following successful upload to the chosen portal But all in all good work                 Ralph Greenwell

Very pleased Does what garmin connect should Easy to use I particularly note that despite limited profitability as more and more devices have bluetooth the developer contines to provide basic support The app has allowed very simple syncing of my older Garmin decice for around 4 years now                     Edward Druitt

I could not get this app to read fit files from the SD card on my Garmin Edge Touring It would only read files from the internal storage I tried various suggestions from the web site but nothing worked I will just have to go back to copying the files using File Explorer to my internal storage and then uploading to a web site to convert from fit to gpx which is all I hoped expected this app to do Thanks at least for having a trial version to test out It does work fine for fit files on the internal drive of the Garmin unit just not for the ones on the SD card     A Google user

Works well for me I got it to use with my old Garmin 310XT which no longer likes syncing using the Garmin Ant dongle Using this app and the built in Ant on my phone Samsung Galaxy S5 it was very easy to upload the data from my GPS You do need to follow the instructions for your specific device For my device instructions were to turn off wifi on phone and enable searching for device I also find if I manually delete the events off of my GPS that I don t want to upload it increases the chance of success Love the upload to Strava functionality                     Roy Harju

Use this all the time Upgraded to paid bargain Works very well on my S5 Neo with 910XT which I d have replaced by now if it wasn t for this app I never have to switch on a PC or take a laptop on holiday I just put phone into flight mode to transfer the data and then switch flight mode off to export No need to restart app in between Well supported by the developer Thanks for this great app                     Joanna Evans

Generally works well once I worked out that I needed to force the ANT scan and definitely superior to trying to get my Garmin 310XT to sync via the ANT stick However recently it seems to have started to fail to send to Garmin Connect Sending it to Strava still works but for some reason it returns connection error when trying to export to Garmin Update thanks lots Very clear                     Joanna Wallis

Has Garmin Connect upload stopped working Does exactly what it says on the tin and does it very well I had lots of difficulty ALL of which has been solved by turning off the other radios per the debug guide Doh             Mark Begbie

It worked fine with my Montana 600 Saved me carrying a PC on a 3 week Europe bike tour and uploaded my GPS data every day without a PC That was with a Garmin Montana 600 and Samsung S4 phone The best cable is a Lindy 31717 IMHO Oddly the most reliable connection was with the Montana battery removed and the phone powering the Garmin in Data mode Sadly this ease of communication is no more now that I have a newer Samsung Note 4 phone running Android 6 0 1 Carlo explained to me that Android has restricted permissions to removable USB devices such as a Garmin Now the only route now is to use a third party file app such as Astro to shift the gpx files to a folder on the phone and then access that via Uploader It works but is a lot fiddlier hopefully he may find a work around to restore the previous ease of use in future Blame Google                 John Highet

I ve had this app for a while back when I was marathon training and using my Garmin Forerunner 205 I d finish my run and upload my data before I headed home very convenient I quit doing marathons in 2011 and put my Garmin away Recently I decided to start tracking my runs and pulled out my Forerunner only to find that when I tried uploading my data to the new Garmin Connect app both on my Mac and on my PC It froze up my computer well the mouse anyway so I couldn t import data I remembered that I had this app and installed it on my new phone end of problem now I can connect my Forerunner to my phone and upload my data and then export to Garmin Connect This makes me a happy customer                     Greg McGaughey

Have old Garmin forerunner 310 with ant This app is excellent to download from garmin to samsung tablet that is ant enabled Struggled initially important to switch of gps on garmin device and switch tablet to airplane mode then works every time                     Manfred Hanni

After years of constant connection problems using Garmin software and an inability over the last six months to upload race data in less than 15 minutes I installed Uploader for Garmin the Ant Radio Service and Ant USB Service and uploaded my race data directly into Strava I can now upload directly after a race when away from my PC Garmin should be ashamed You do need an OTG USB lead                     John Williamson

After upgrading my phone with Android 8 I couldn t download or connect anymore to my garmin watch It used to worked fine but no anymore after OS update Update I downgraded my review because the app didn t work anymore for me and truly didn t know that the problem was because of OP Don t get mad buddy I already raised it to 4 stars because the app helped me a lot for a time                 Ottoniel Guglietta

I have a Forerunner 410 which Garmin has lazily decided to no longer support to be honest they haven t supported it for quite a while This app allows me to connect my 410 to either my ant enabled Galaxy Tab S and or S5 upload data then export easily to a host of services including Garmin Connect Before I had to use my laptop and ant dongle but it was really glitchy slow and temperamental sometimes it wouldn t sync at all This app bypasses all that without a need for a dongle depending on your device and makes the process much quicker easier and efficient You just gave my 6 year old Garmin watch a new lease of life Thank you and bravo                     Sam Austin

Got this to take TCX files from my trusty Garmin EDGE605 using an OTG lead onto my Galaxy tab 4 Works a dream once you enter the path for them on the Edge s SDCARD into the uploaded settings Then export them as GPX files onto the tablet s SDCARD and you can view them with any GPX viewer you like AWESOME SIMPLE AND SMALL APP DOUBLE THUMBS UP THIS WILL BE SO GOOD FOR MY SAILING HOLIDAY THIS YEAR                     Craig Hudson
