The Launch Sites is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Launch Sites app version 1.5 has been updated on 2014-11-25. For ensuring consistency with the device you should take into account the following app compatibility information: 2.2 and up

I have used the app several times now and have even added some pics and a comment I thought might be helpful So far the information has been accurate and helpful for me I would recommend the app to others who like me are new to paddling and or just want to find places to paddle that arnt as crowded as the advertized locations                     chris malcom

Good app for finding u0026 planning paddling routes Would be a big help if saved routes could be edited and copied by the creator Also when selecting a trip you should be able to select one of the paddling points in it and the app should take you to it on the map and highlight all the points in the journey plan on the map                 Anthony Durant

Excellent app I always have a yak on my roof on my days off so even if i had other stuff to do that day i can try and get on the water for a couple hours No matter where i am i can find the nearest launch site Already found one new goto spot                     ranae Carden

This is a great idea with horrible execution in the Md De Pa area there are many red dots that are on private property or have no access to the water or the road In addition to inaccuracy the interface is counterintuitive to the point of uselessness The map is for roads and lacks any sort of detail for the water There is no trip feature that allows planning or tracking of progress We used this app and ended up replanning the entire trip on the fly     bill flickinger

Old version s ramp locator was easy to use and you just had to maneuver thru a map It was Easy to scan to an area and plan drop in and pull out locales in PA MD DE and NJ I tried again to use this new version after it being around for awhile Keeps showing me dots in the middle of a few islands on the James River     Mike Jayes

Could have been a good app if it wasn t so broken Can t post to it even with an account from within mobile app Has 300 word requirement for posting when you can Should just have a thumbs up rating system with ability to add short comments So Abit useless Hopefully they fix it or I will go back to Google maps         A Google user

Not a bad app it does have its quirks though the places added before I downloaded it are great and have a list of paddles for up coming season now but that s the first problem The version on MY phone anyway won t let me save locations and I have to search for them on the map anytime I want to go back to them Next problem is when I tried to add a couple of floats I know of that haven t been marked on the map it won t let me add them and tells me an error occurred just frustrating that it won t let me do anything         AGC KYLCR

I ve been using Go Paddling for over a year and I love it But recently it only shows the red dots it cannot download the map Please fix this or tell me what s happening on my phone It also happens on the website         Valerie Bird

Used the old launch site for over a year and it worked great even on my new s8 running nouget After the update It is worthless I can move the map and zoom in out but that is all If I click on a dot and it just gets bigger no info at all Please bring back the old version     Del Cogdill
