This app is weak I tried to setup eDDA with O epay so I can transfer money out to banks The setup was automatically rejected by two separate banks twice and there is no information on how to troubleshoot this problem anywhere The Paypal transfer option is also disabled After transferring money in from my bank accounts the money is now stuck in the O Epay account with no means to transfer back out to a bank FAIL         Lok Yan Wong

I have been using this app to pay my phone bill This was good But this month I topped up the card for the phone bill but it failed to make any payment It was confusing there are so msny other payment modes in the app but the Octopus was not responding I tried the O ePay but no response Tried login again no avail Its bad if the payment channels in the app is updated or changed no indication nor any ways that user csn get help Very confusing and bad My money is stuck inside now     sylvia luk

To top up or to use any function of this app you need to register And for strange reasons you need a HK mobile phone number tried my UK number but it does not fit in 8 digits I am preparing for my first arrival to HK but this app is useless Do you guys know phone calls and SMS are obsolete 20th century technology It is all messengers snapchats whatsapps and hangouts these days people communicate Why would I need to purchase a Sim card in any new country I am briefly visising     Piotr Balwierz

Normal features work fine but the reason I downloaded this app was to use the mastercard feature but for some reason the app declines payments for many online shops such as Origin or even the Play Store The only time I was able to complete a transaction was paying for Spotify premium Also the app removed the function to top up a PayPal account which is really disappointing as this was another reason I downloaded the app I hope Octopus will resolve these issues             Prince Fan

08 July 2019 Noticed a FLAW in APP If you use FPS to transfer P2P the money is not transferred to the default bank using mobile no but but directed to the OePay account Hence to FPS transfer to default bank you need to select Bank Account no and enter details of the account holder to do bank transfer This is cumbersome u0026 time consuming since using mobile no for FPS transfer does not need to enter such details using other e wallets 05 Mar 2019 Octopus is doing dis service to OePay customers by drastically reducing the funds aggregate MONTHLY transfer FREE limit last week from HK 10 000 to HK 5000 which includes FPS bank transfer direct debit and PayPal To be competitive with other e wallets such as AliPay they are way behind As a comparison all financial institutions including e wallets have a DAILY FPS limit of HK 10 000 Now even Pro account holders of OePay have the same restrictions as lite customers That s a travesty No wonder Octopus is no longer enjoying all the benefits of e wallets like its competitors         Fernandes Albino

That s a lot of function inthe app but it s too rubbish Connection is ALWAYS slow and wait Some features doesn t work NFC is not sensitive Always need to sign in Even send psw code for registration ofthe phone no is so slow As a whole ALL the features in the app is slow and need to wait wait and still waiting How come such a big HK company is so outdated in technology Finally there is no help section to tell u how to work on that but the design of the interface is not understandable             Joey L
