The Verse-A-Day Free is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Verse-A-Day Free app version 2.0 has been updated on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Although every daily verse app is wonderful since it delivers God s word to us this one is the best available in my opinion for 3 reasons 1 the verse selection is longer than most daily verse apps while still short enough to easily read This puts the verse in a larger context which adds to the meaning 2 A commentary is included with each verse These commentaries are biblically faithful and insightful 3 you can easily switch back and forth between the verse and commentary                     Dennis R

I have really enjoyed this app for a long time But now it won t show any verses It just stopped working I have sent a few emails to try and get the problem resolved but have gotten no response Someone please help I want my verse a day app back             A Google user

Such a great tool I find myself getting so busy that I neglect to read the Word but it is sooo important to do if I want to grow in my faith and continue to be refined by The Most High God This app is amazing and it helps me to slow down think process and focus on what the Lord wants for my life which is for me to put Him first in everything that I do and allow Him to take care of the rest God is good and this app is helpful                     Alexandrea Baynes

Amazing app The daily notification feature is great because it reminds me that I should take a minute to read God s word I can set it to any time of day and it really helped me get into the habit of reading a bible verse every day                     Riley G

I use to love this app but now most times it doesn t show any content and says to check back later I ve tried uninstalling and then installing again and it did the same I love reading my daily scriptures everyday and rely on the commentary for different points of view I do hope that this bug is fixed on the app so I can go back to using it and give a better rating         carmen reed
